Ordered some pizza for dinner today. Papa Johns gave me the option for free delivery. The pizza was not delivered on time so I called the restaurant and was told my pizza was ready but they were running behind on deliveries and it would be awhile for my pizza to get delivered. I told them I'd pick up the pizza and asked them to refund the drivers tip. It was at this point that I was told they partner with door dash for deliveries and could not be refunded. Got one large stuffed pepperoni & cheese crust cheese pizza and one large works specialty pizza for about $40. The stuffed crust pepperoni & cheese is interesting, but the works pizza had all the toppings dumped in the center with about 4" of nothing between the crust and where the toppings started (sorry I didn't a pic..was in a hurry?‍♂️) Wanted to change it up from our usual Marco's Pizza cuz kids like stuffed crust, but I should've stayed w the usual. Close to home and one of my favorite pizza places, I’ve never had a problem with papa John’s, until my last order of pizza from there seemed off. I got 2 pizzas, one being supreme, and it looked and felt like they literally just threw the veggies on last minute and threw it in the oven, as when I looked at it the veggies were bunched together in one spot and upon picking up a slice they instantly fell off.
