We were traveling through San Antonio and wanted some Mexican food that was close to the highway and was easy off/on. They had good ratings so thought we'd stop in. We grew up in Corpus so we knew the best Mexican food is usually the hole-in-the-wall places where the locals eat. I don't mean this to be racist but we were the only white people in the restaurant. If you want that authentic taste, good portions, at a great price, this is the spot for you. The 3 daily taco specials during the week are very good at a good price. The tortilla soup was not too salty and tasted so good. I have yet to try everything, but so far I'm liking it.

We love Taqueria Reyes ❣️ Small business, but delicious ? and great prices. Homade tortillas, for crispy tacos fresh fried shells, great salsa. I personally like crispy beef tacos, enchiladas, rice and beans. We've gotten breakfast tacos to go on many occasions.We take our whole family when they are on this side of town.
