I was hesitant on going to a BBQ restaurant at HEB. I expected grocery store quality food which is good but not like going to a 5 star restaurant. True Texas BBQ is amazing and most people will tell you it's some of the best bbq in Texas. Their smoked meats are done in house and to perfection. Lately I've been hooked on their fully loaded baked potatoes. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out!

I live near here, and it is dangerous! Dangerously good, that is!! First, the people who work here are so nice. Second, the food is excellent. I love the turkey, sausage, and ribs. I also love the collard greens and Mac and cheese. They make it right. They also have crunchy ice. Third, it has a bar! It’s like the local pub. Fourth, they have music on weekend nights!! I love this place.
