We sat at the bar and I had a chocolate martini and it was the best chocolate martini I've had in a long time. She was so sweet and personable. “What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! The chef deserves to be recognized!!“

“We visited early April while staying near the Space Center. On a Saturday evening around 7pm, we were surprised to see only a couple of other tables occupied. This may be due to the location of the restaurant just off the highway in a partially abandoned strip mall. We were greeted warmly upon entrance and ordered our dinner at the recommendation of the cashier. The dining area was colorfully decorated which helped with forgetting the rundown exterior environment. The pot of stewing frijoles charros that diners can help themselves to is a nice touch. We ordered tacos, enchiladas, and guacamole with chips. Everything was tasty and the cochinita pibil tacos in particular made for a very enjoyable meal. Coming from New York, we found the prices reasonable and the portions generous. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Hopefully this taqueria can market more to those that are visiting the NASA tourist site as there don't seem to be many quality eateries in the area.“

“Super cool place we accidentally found while looking for something else. We’ve been back several times since then. Definitely worth a visit if like wine. Great selection and helpful staff. Atmosphere is relaxing with great views outside and creative decor inside. Prices are extremely fair and you get a really good deal if you purchase wine to go. “Terrific food, and friendly staff but they cook to order and are very busy so it can take awhile for the order to be ready. (We think it's worth the wait!) It's takeout only and you wait outside, but there are some stools to wait on out of the sun. The place is right next to Boyd's bait store and that's busy also. Only a few nearby picnic tables, but you can go out on the Texas City Dike (which sometimes charges a fee) to find other picnic tables (which can be a bit sandy and have bird droppings) or you can eat in your vehicle.“

“The food and service are outstanding! The blue crab beignets starter is scrumptious and the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Pastalaya is sooooo good my husband orders it every time. The steak was cooked to perfection with a mouthwatering cognac peppercorn sauce. Crab cake delicious too. This is a wonderful fine dining experience with excellent service. “Did not realize it was Mother's day weekend, so we were trying to find someplace to eat but every place was booked up. So I went onto my OpenTable app to find a place that served steak and this place did not disappoint. It has a really cute outside area if want enjoy the summer breeze. Our waitress/bartender/hostess was so nice and had us laughing the whole evening. This place is a nice place to chill with friends, family or date night. During the week they have ladies night, triva night, live music and of course steak night. The steak was so marvelous and the seasoning was perfect. The cook did something nice for us because they ran out of regular fries so she hand cut us same steak fries. And of course what meal would complete with the dessert which I selected the whiskey bread pudding. I got alittle excited so I took a few bites before I remembered to take a photo. They have a nice selection of draft beers and wine.“

I would compare the batter and texture to Captain D's (not country style), it also had a good flavor and the fries are kind of like seasoned fries. “Phenomenal!!! I had the roasted duck curry, pork dumplings, and mango sticky rice. Very delicious. Favorite in the area by far.It’s been a year and I just ordered Hunsa Thai again. I got the pad Thai and mango sticky rice and I’m just blown away AGAIN at how absolutey incredible their food is. The mango sticky rice is the best I’ve had in Houston. 1000000/10“

We usually order their coconut shrimp and baked potato and or fried okra. The service is nice, you can seat yourself most of the times. Small exception of cheese enchiladas...coming from California, they use real shredded cheese and this is the 2nd Mexican restaurant we visited that uses what seems to be Velveeta and its pretty gross tasting + texture is chalky/chunky. May be others styles but not ours. Otherwise, service was great, guac, shrimp quesadilla, enchiladas suizas, horchata, all fantastic and I highly recommend!“

“I remember Cabo when it was still Club Classic. Cabo has the best lakeside patio in all of Clear Lake with some of the best food. I go at least once a week for the ahi bites. They are the best. It’s slices not bites of sushi grade ahi and it’s a huge portion for the price with tangy ponzu and a peppered crust.Clearly that’s my favorite. It’s always super fresh. I also like their taco night - I do an ahi and a fried shrimp and sometimes the special of the night on Taco Tuesdays. I don’t do steak but their most popular food night is Thursday steak night with $20ish filets with sides.Vegetarian options: Ahi Bites, Fried Shrimp Basket, Fried Fish Basket, Shrimp Scampi (Steak Night), several other things, those are my faves.Lots with the shrimp or fish - I think an Ahi Sandwich too, some more shrimp things, and I want to say a Teriyaki Salmon.Parking: Lots of parking right off of NASA Rd 1“
