“Amazing fried snapper w a potato batter. Sounds interesting, weird even. I know. AMAZING w the tartar sauce they offer. Fried oysters and fresh oysters were amazing. Also got the lunch special asian fried fish tacos w Asian pickled vegetables and ginger soy Glaze ontop. The sauce can be a little rich, sweet, overbearing. I added some coleslaw to it which cut that strong flavor back just right. Beers on draft. Good cocktails. Coconut banana soufflé was surprisingly very good. My son ordered it for his birthday. They do big sparklers in their birthday deserts.Kid-friendliness: Games: giant jenga and sack toss on patio.Swing chairs and a cement pier to walk.“

“Awesome place to have dinner in San Leon. I live all the restaurants out here but as a resident it is nice to have variety. This place is a hidden gem with good food, nice ambience and great prices. We have been three tiMrs and will come back.“

“My family had a really wonderful experience tonight. Our waitress, Demi, was attentive, thoughtful, and accommodating. The portions were large, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. From the surprisingly large kids chicken nuggets (think - mini chicken strips) and whole delicious green beans (nothing from a can, here) My shrimp Alfredo with seasonal vegetables was more than perfect. My husband (not a fish lover) really enjoyed his pecan encrusted red snapper. They even brought us wet wipes at the end - I know it sounds minor, but truly with a family (and baby in tow) this was such an enjoyable dining experience. I will say - we came on a late Sunday evening. It wasn’t crowded, there was plenty of room for my kids to run and play, and the outdoor tables even ROCK like a boat!!“

The Falafels were small, slightly over cooked (maybe we are spoiled from our Israel trips) but had a good taste.For entrees we had Large Greek Salad with Gyro & Chick Pea Salad with Gyro.For dessert we had the Ravani which was amazing!First Visit:Everything from the appetizer to dessert was excellent.We ordered the Dolmades Ladoregano and Hummus for Appetizers.For main dishes, we ordered Chickpea Salad and the Gyro Plate.For dessert, we shared a Chocolate Mousse Cake.We will definitely be back soon!“

“We walked in and immediately greeted by Marina and Chris both woth a warm welcome. First time here Marina explained the specials and had visual plates to reference.Food was fantastic!!! She gave us a bit of the history of the place and recommended items. “We heard about this place after buying coffee from them during a farmer’s market. All seating is outside, which makes for a beautiful time outdoors. I highly recommend the smothered tots with crawfish and shrimp etouffee. Their Cafe Sua Da was so silky and delicious.“

“I love coming here! They have great food, pizzas are killer. The staff is wonderful and the inside is pretty cool. They have an outside seating area as well. We always come in a boat and tie up and then go get lunch, or on Sundays we go in and have brunch, which is my favorite. I would and have suggested this to many people. They also have a large beer selection.Parking: You can also dock your boat up for lunch or dinner.“

“We are out doing some craft brewery tastings and stopped in at Backyard Brewery, nice small place with a what looks like a good regular crowd. We had the West Coast IPA, one of the best I've had in a while! Rich in color and lots of flavor. Service was great, we got a chance to taste (sample) a few before selecting the West Coast. Love supporting small businesses and this is one worth a stop.“

“We found this place on a whim! Our kids wanted ice cream and the door was locked with the open sign. The chef at the bar let us through to the back. It’s such a great place to kick back, have a few appetizers or drinks, play games as a family and watch a game on the big screen. Our kids really enjoyed being able to participate in playing games. The fries and onion rings were tasty! It wasn’t packed when we arrived mid day on the weekend but I could see it being crowded at night and having trouble parking. Definitely recommend!“

The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms. The beer is consistently great with a nice variety of flavors and styles. The food is consistently delicious. “We love going to Scotty’s on the Bay! Our favorite bartenders are Amber S and Evan! They are always very attentive. We have followed Amber S from other bars that she worked at. She’s so personable always asks those she doesn’t know their names. She’s bubbly and does her best to make sure you are having a good time! She’s also the one who recommended the many different foods and yummy appetizers that are now our favorites. She aims to greet everyone with a smile and your name!“

“We always loved the service Drew gave us at our local Chili's and when he told us that he started working part-time at The Monkey Bar we thought that we would give it a try. We really didn't know what kind of place it was, Monkey Bar says Bar, but we wanted to try something different. We were actually surprised when we walked into this quaint little hangout with lots of friendly locals who were more than happy to welcome us. The staff, even the owner, were attentive to every customers needs. At first we were concerned about the cigarette smoke, but it didn't take long to notice that they have an excellent circulation system that keeps the air clean so I didn't even notice! You can order a variety of appetizers and other dishes for lunch and dinner but decided on some pretty good boudin egg rolls and some cold beers while we shot a few games of pool. We enjoyed our first visit and plan on going back to try something from the lunch or dinner selection soon.“

“I remember Cabo when it was still Club Classic. Cabo has the best lakeside patio in all of Clear Lake with some of the best food. I go at least once a week for the ahi bites. They are the best. It’s slices not bites of sushi grade ahi and it’s a huge portion for the price with tangy ponzu and a peppered crust.Clearly that’s my favorite. It’s always super fresh. I also like their taco night - I do an ahi and a fried shrimp and sometimes the special of the night on Taco Tuesdays. The food is great, on weekends It gets pretty crowded and lively. They have lots of beer choices and alcohol for you to choose from. It's a whole new Coffee Shop now. After Mr. Mike, the owner, reached out to me offering his apologies and an explanation, I decided to stop by and check out the new and improved. I was pretty impressed at the transformation! All the decor is beautiful and colorful. Very inviting and uplifting. I noticed the shop was very clean. Bathrooms as well. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful. Miss Grace assisted me in choosing a delicious Vietnamese Coffee. She was so nice and super helpful. This Coffee Shop has some very unique Coffee and Teas to try. I was greeted upon walking in and then wished a good evening once leaving. Very happy for these good folks. Turning this around and making it a go Local Coffee Shop. Keep up the great work.“
