“Been on my list for years and I finally tried it on a friend’s recommendation. We were very pleased with the generous selection of breakfast and lunch. Surprisingly they offer a menu and a steam table. Everyone was pleased and stuffed from the large portions.Parking: Parking in front and across the street.“

“Waygood always has great coffee! I used to visit another local coffee place but the coffe began tasting burned and bitter. At Waygood the coffee is fresh and full of flavor. The service is always fast and friendly. I enjoy the friendly smiles and good vibe at Waygood.“

“This is legit the best vegan bakery I have ever been to in my life. Every single thing they make is uniquely designed and delicious- more tasty than any vegan pastries I have ever had. “Love this place so far. I've only been a few times but hoping to make it a regular spot. It does get pretty crowded though, especially for Magic events, but they have a calendar that kinda helps you avoid the bigger events. A bit cramped but only because they try to maximize the tables available and very very friendly/accepting.Parking: Their parking area is very limited and people tend to just find spots on the side streets. The area is getting... revamped, so hopefully the street parking stays free or they're able to buy more space.“

“What a lovely place! The prices are fair, the service was fast, and our drinks and food were delicious. I liked the honey lime jasmine tea with mango jelly and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious too. We love their egg rolls and fried wontons. I will definitely be back!“

“Chose this coffee spot as a place to chill before our flight out of houston. Floored on the food - the Chinese sausage tacos were amazing. The tortillas were just right, good portions, right amount of heat, sweet, and texture. Best breakfast taco I've ever had. Wish i had more time in Houston to try their whole menu! Cold brews were good as well!“

“Hands-down, my favorite coffee shop in Houston. All of the baristas are literally so sweet and care so much about you having a perfect experience. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and we were easily able to find a seat—which I’ve never experienced at any other Houston coffee shop but they literally have so much space and seating it’s lovely. I had both the Pistachio Matcha Latte and Nutella Crepe and both were phenomenal. Will absolutely be returning.“

“I am so glad I finally stopped in. The beef bulgogi was yummy! As a picky eater I was happy there wasn't alot of veggies that I had to pick out. The glass noodles were also very flavorful. I was greeted with a smile & my food was ready quick. I will definitely be back.“

“It's the original and not to be duplicated by any other. A true staple of Houston and South Houston. Service is always on point, cleanliness at 100 and fast ordering. The coffee is fire. Get here early if you want to get a hold of those fajita kolaches. Those are bliss“

“A crepe cafe perfect for breakfast.Both sweet and rice dishes are available.The store has a clean feel. The store staff are also friendly and polite.It's served early in the morning, so it's perfect for breakfast before going to NASA. In front of you is the free space of the mall. There are many children in the artificial grass field.“

“We enjoy Ms. Norma's Cafe more and more with each visit. All the food is fantastic, the owner/staff is friendly, and you can taste that everything here is made with love. While we enjoy items on the regular menu, we look forward to the daily specials. We have tried the Carne Guisada, Barbacoa, Picadillo, Migas, Mark's Favorite Burrito, sourdough bread, lemon cake, and other items - all of them were delicious. “I have been here a couple of times and I think their coffee is delicious. I think it is also kind of out of my price range, but it is some of my favorite coffee even though I don’t really drink coffee. “Hosted an anniversary party for my parents here, and cannot say enough great things about Szilvia and her staff. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We had a mishap with our cake (purchased elsewhere) while driving down and our waitress told us not to worry about it, that she would fix it, and she did! She went way above and beyond. The wine was amazing, and our guests had a wonderful time. Szilvia was very knowledgeable and kind, and we loved learning about the wines from her. She also helped us with a wine gift for my parents with a custom label, and was so communicative with us during the planning process. She even texted me when we were on the way down and asked me to let her know when we were close so she could have our guests hide and surprise my parents. “This is a hidden gem in Pasadena! It is a quaint cafe with AMAZING food! My boyfriend and I started with the brisket loaded fries….absolutely delicious! I had the grilled turkey and spinach panini and I added avocado and my boyfriend had the sycamore 2s which came with 2 eggs, 2 of your choice of meat, and 2 pancakes. The pancakes were divine and melted in your mouth. The service was great as well. Our waitress was very attentive even though they had a full house (literally…the cafe is a house ?). You have to check this place out. The grounds are beautiful. They also have a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue onsite.Parking: Nice size parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for those in a wheelchair.“

“The food was absolutely fresh and I greatly enjoyed the salad. Now I have experimented with the different types they have to offer. My over all favorite is the garden salad. I cannot rave enough about their soups also. I love their tomato bisque soup. It's never tasted burnt or watery. Its got a creamy thick texture which I was pleasantly surprised. I also enjoyed it being paired with a bread/roll. I love their coffees as well. The cappuccino is delicious! Thank you for signing me up for rewards. “Honestly this place has some of the best breakfast and lunch. Everything the menu is homemade. The breakfast tacos are the best fresh flour tortilla. The owner is a very nice sweet lady who owns the establishment and works very hard to maintain. A well respected place you can come a grab a delicious bite. I have been coming here for 21 years of it was different management. Overall, if your in the Lockwood area and Armour Dr come shoe some love and check them out.“

“Wonderful adoption-first mindset giving homeless cats a place to acclimate and socialize to other cats and humans while staying off the street. Enjoy a cozy hour with the cats and if you’re looking for a cat to adopt, I can’t think of a better place.“

The crowd is mixed with both young and old as well as the music which consists of blues, zydeco, r&b, and hip hip/ rap closer to the end of the night. Friday nights is a packed house. Saturday night is a great chill time. Sunday night plays host to the battle off the DJs. So if your ever in the area Friday/Saturday night stop by and you will find me DJ Lil Tay on the 1s and 2s.“

“I come here a lot to watch unique shows and go to amazing festivals. I have a great time with my partner and I really enjoy the service here. The workers are very nice and I enjoy their coffee. I really love the kombucha on tap and if you like to drink, this place is cool. They have karaoke night sometimes and you should really follow their Instagram if you want updates. “I'm giving a 5 star plus because they're usually good and I throughly enjoy their products especially there smoothies, they are awesome but today the gentleman that made my drinks was no bueno. It was disappointing. By the time I walked back to my job across the street(Central Library)...My drink looks like this it started separating and I shook it and it still separated...very disappointing since I couldn't return back to Fresh before they closed and my break was over...Not a happy camper...????‍♀️“

“This place is located in a shady area and we were a bit skeptical going in but it’s so nice inside. Looks like a converted warehouse. We ordered vanilla latte on the recommendation of the cashier and it was delicious. I had the classic with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and sourdough toast. The eggs were creamy and lightly seasoned the presentation was neat and clean. My husband had the croissant with eggs and that was delicious too. We also got almond croissant and crème brûlée cheese cake. Everything was delicious and the bill was around $45. Which I thought was very reasonable. Loved it, recommend it and would love to come back.“
