My family and I checked out Granny Dee’s Kitchen, a cool black-owned spot we wanted to support. The elderly man who greeted us was so friendly, and we didn't mind waiting for him to take our orders. We ended up spending over $100 for four of us, which wasn't bad. I liked how they have different stuff on different days, so we went for Friday's menu. The food is usually very good. Sides: I have to say the greens are too salty so I get cabbage. My last visit, the yams/sweet potatoes tasted like they were canned, different than when they first opened. Mac n cheese, fabulous.
