If you’re in the area do yourself a kindness and eat here! The service is wonderful. The coleslaw esque side dish is refreshing and packed with flavor. The pupusas con pollo were well seasoned and fresh. Fried plantains with frijoles were so good we ordered a second plate for the table. I came here with my family and now I go anytime I’m close. Bottom line: FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY. The long version: My family had lunch here on New Year's eve. We converged from Brenham, Killeen, and Arlington. There were 4 adults and 2 toddlers. First things first - the food was delicious. I had the empenada platter that came with rice and beans. The beans were tasty but the rice was fantastic. Ordered 3 different pupusas to go - bean and cheese, squash and cheese and beef. They were all fantastic and the red sauce and pickled cabbage that came with them were to die for! Will definitely be going back for more!
