“Good little place in Texas City to meet after work for a brewski!!! Great Happy Hour Prices!!! Met a buddy of mine here to have a couple of beers after quitting time. Small friendly crowd and little lady that was tending bar that never slowed down the whole time we were there!!! The beer was good and cold! Ran into a couple of other people I knew up there. Didn't take the crowd long to build once happy hour rolled around!!! At $1.75 a beer is hard to pass up a deal like that!!! Place got pretty packed for awhile and then kind of tapered off after happy hour was over. I imagine they always have a pretty good crowd during happy hour though! I'll be dropping in every now and then to just have a good cold one! The only draw back that I noticed was that the smoke tended to get a little bad once it got crowded, my eyes started burning“

“This restaurant always has a light and cheerful atmosphere. Affordable food and drinks. We usually get the Jessica's plate to split. It's enough food and reasonably priced. We also enjoy a couple of peach margaritas WITH EXTRA PEACH. We typically dine for under $30. I have also had the shredded chicken taco salad and several of the shrimp plates. I do not know if smoking is allowed here. I have never seen anyone smoking nor have I smelled smoke other than the sizzling fajitas of course. I am allergic to smoke. Another reason we continue to frequent this establishment. We dine here at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. This place is a regular stop. Look for me. I will probably be there.“
“I’m from out of town and wanted to hit a classic local bar and club thats on 6th street and I am glad i found the Upscale Lounge! Good music and even better people making it all happen. Definitely give this place a visit if your in the area and if your looking for a quality drink and some good vibes. “The only complaint I would have is that they're not very up-to-date on their shots, I would rather a bartender tell me they don't know how to make a shot then try to do it and it come out bad and have to pay for it anyway. Other than that the atmosphere and the staff is always nice.“
