“My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.”

“I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent and the meat was juicy. The tandoori chicken tasted delicious. The staff were great! Our server was very helpful when it came to choosing our main dishes. The manager was really kind and greeted us too. I will definitely be returning again for dinner!”

“I needed to go pick up a couple extra grocery items inside Walmart and saw the subway on my way in. I asked a gentleman when they were closing as I didn’t want to keep them and he told me I had plenty of time. I finished my shopping, stopped back in and he was so helpful and polite. I haven’t been to subway in quite some time, but grabbing that new pro sweet onion chicken teriyaki with his recommendations was fantastic! I wish I got his name, but thank you so much!”

It is small on the inside and can get loud. The boil was garlic heavy, but the shrimp and crab legs were fresh and sizeable.”

“I had breakfast yesterday for the first time here, and the food was amazing. My friend had the banana and Nutella crepes. She said they were delicious. I had scrambled eggs and ham and the portions were awesome. Our server Isaac was excellent. We plan to return and try having lunch. “This was one of those “where have you been all my life” situations. I love the old fashioned feel of this place which makes me think of McDonald’s in the 90’s or other similar restaurants. The neon lights and the classic feel would look great during a ring day or during the snow. The crinkled fries were great but the chicken tenders were fantastic. Plus the chocolate frozen yogurt was delicious. Lastly, the service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I highly enjoyed eating here and has now been bettered in my top 5 most favorite fast food joints I’ve ever been to. Easily a 4.5/5 ranking from my personal experience.”

“We had the Mex Tacos, specifically the Al Pastor, Tinga and the Chorizo tacos. Every single one of them tasted great but I loved the Al Pastor taco. That one tasted the best and the meat was very well cooked and flavourful.
We also had the Al Pastor Gorditas... Muy delicioso!!
Finished them all up with a Mexican Coke!
One of the best Taco.shops I have been to, in and around the Plano area.

Updated: I started eating here 2 years after my original review and must say the taste of the dishes I regularly eat here has improved a lot.

Regular thai restaurant nothing special about it. $15 for lunch and tip included. Not worth the money.
Level 5 hot dish barely had any kick to it. When you ask for more spice they give you the store bought sriracha sauce yuk (not a fan, too much vinegar and preservatives). I am going to give it another try and will update y'all”

It was nice that I could get the bread centers (that are leftover from hollowing out the baguettes to make the zeppelins)complementary which I brought home and dipped in oil and spices. And I ate this along with the salad. Yummy. I was wanting something light, but somewhat filling, and this fit the bill. Next time I go, I’m going to custom make a salad because they have a lot of nice looking ingredients that are not included on the specialty salads.”

“I discovered this place a few years ago when I moved into the neighboring apartments and instantly became a regular.

The patio is great for drinking/dining and games (they have giant Jenga blocks). Sometimes they have live music. Plenty of TV's indoor and out. Plus billiards, cornhole, darts, beer pong and a couple arcade games.

I'm a big fan of their quesadillas, fries, fried pickles and cheese curds.

If you're in Austin Ranch I recommend stopping by. You can even bring your pup!”
