“Move here to the colony about 10 years ago , till this day still one of my go to places for GOOD FOOD HANDS DOWN. Good breakfast tacos ( Hefty portion) good street tacos . Try the nachos frenado style ??. Tortas also good and same with the "mexican burger "“

“Good food. A cut above for Mexican fast food. Generous portions. More meat than the other Mexican fast food restaurants. Reasonably priced. Clean facility. Very polite and professional staff. Superfast service too! More than I can say for the other local chain fast food places. The others act like you're interupting their day when you walk in and order something. My go to place from now on! Make it yours too!“
“I was there for Neo Soul Sunday. Prior to my visit, I read the dress code rules and planned accordingly. However, upon arrival, I see athletic wear, sleeveless shirts, sagging pants, etc. So the dress code is clearly not enforced, but they do enforce the no re-entry policy. Make sure you have everything you need because as soon as the wristband is on, you're locked in... lolValet was nice, bartenders and wait staff were cool, drinks are mid -strawberry swirl margarita topped with an extra shot of Grand Marnier??, atmosphere is decent- be careful of the wooden benches if your clothing is thin due to splinters, restrooms are (for the most part) clean, and music was on point! A couple of my peers ordered food, so I know for sure the brisket fries were good, but the wings weren't memorable.“
“Authentic Mexican food and Mexican music!Very spacious, big patio looking at the backyard open green space. Not crowded , we went at 1 pm Sunday.Hostess was good and food was good. The portions were big enough. Margarita on the house was large and good!Good place to have a hearty lunch or supper looking at the sunset with friends and family.We will be back since my 9 year old loves Mexican food.“
“A great restaurant to get a large, flavorful meal! The establishment has a drive-thru for your convenience and the food comes out pretty fast! The staff was friendly and store had decent seating. I highly recommend the loaded fries; they can easily feed two people and are a great bang for your buck because you can add all of the different meats for the same price! The store kept the green theme inside accompanied with decent seating and plenty of parking as well.“
“We have always loved this place since they were in Lewisville. Once they closed due to I 35 expansion, we drive from Denton to the Colony. Up until the last 2 times food was great. The last 2 times, all of our meats (beef fajita & the chicken in the Pachuga dish) were super salty so much that they were difficult to eat. Not sure if it’s the marinade or the seasoning while cooking but I won’t be back to eat that.“
“Our server, Monserat, was AMAZING! She provided well informed suggestions for our first time at Mi Cocina. The environment was so welcoming and perfect for our date night. Dimly lit, while also being able to enjoy the ambience of the place. Highly recommend if you want a nice Mexican restaurant for a date night.“
