“The festival in itself is a lot of fun, costumes are great, there are a lot of shows and entertainment. What was not amusing was the elaborate animal abuse. Horses, ponies, elephants and llamas. There is no ethical way to get an elephant to accept a human on its back. It was depressing. The festival does not need animals for entertainment, there's plenty to see as is.”
“As a BBQ snob, there are not many places that I will recommend, but Bar-A is definitely on the list! Brisket is on point, the jalapeño cheese sausage is some of the best anywhere and the half chicken is as good reheated as it is fresh, and that’s saying something. They have made pork belly chicharrón before as a special that is chopped up with a little bit of a Smokey Spanish flair and it was amazing. As far as sides go, I would like to petition for the cornbread pudding to be on the menu every day because it is seriously addictive. But for staples: regular cornbread and cucumber salad are my favorites (my husband always gets the cheesy potatoes). My only critique would be that they start ordering merch in size small ? otherwise, the family friendly service needs no improvement and the food is definitely the best BBQ around!”
“Just ordered some food there for takeout got the grilled pork chops mashed potatoes and some green beans have to say the best food I have had in a very long time and not only one pork chop I got two and it was decently priced definitely would be going here more ”
“Just moved to Magnolia and tried Magnolia Thai for the 1st time. Where I come from, we have a lot of really good Thai restaurants and this one is as good as the others. I highly recommend trying the beef Pad See Ewe, the flavor is very savoring.”
“Excellent food, friendly staff, and super clean dining area. The Montgomery Grove is quickly becoming a favorite lunch spot for us. The salads are great, and their French fries are the best around.”
“We had never gotten a take out before. It was definitely different. We called gave our order. 2 orders of Golden tacos. Said they would be ready in 15 min. We arrived I did not get his name but he had a great handle bar mustache. He came out to our truck asked our name went back and brought our order out.We were very impressed. Our food was hot and plenty of it. Chips were great to.We will order again.”
“First time visitors. Split a cauliflower crust PSB and a Caesar salad. Could tell ingredients were fresh and everything was very tasty. I am new to being GF and don't love my crust options with pizza. I miss real crust. The edges of ours seemed a little dark but we still enjoyed it. Prices are a little higher than I'd expect for lunch but I also own a food business and I know inflation has wreaked havoc on food costs. We will visit again. One RECOMMENDATION for the owners... look into making a long-fermented sourdough crust? It's gluten sensitive safe and SO much tastier than GF or cauliflower!!”
“I attended a anniversary party for friends at this location and there was plenty of room for not only the party-goers but the regular customers as well. They also had a wonderful band going that day and if I didn't live so far away it would be a definite weekend ”
“H Wines is more than just a wine bar – it's an experience. From the moment I stepped inside, you are welcomed by Phillippe and transported to a charming and intimate space that was a bank back in the day. The exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and comfortable seating created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day.H Wines boasts an impressive variety of both local Texan and French wines. If you're feeling indecisive, don't worry! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and they're more than happy to help you find the perfect bottle to suit your taste.Speaking of the staff, let's talk about Philippe. He is, without a doubt, one of the most welcoming and genuine people I've ever met. His enthusiasm for wine is infectious, and he took the time to chat with me about my preferences and recommend some amazing wines that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. His friendly demeanor and expert guidance truly made my experience at H Wines unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to savor delicious wines, experience exceptional service, and enjoy a truly unique atmosphere, look no further than H Wines. “Awesome brewery with a relaxing environment and great people! Always a welcoming staff and great beers! YPW and the Mead are our favs! Great place for darts and we love that we can bring our dog!”
“Amazing food and better service. I am a regular customer at this place, and it never lets me down. My entire family loves this place, definitely worth visiting. In our latest visit we received exceptional service from a young man, Esteven. Thanks to all the amazing employees who make my experience that much better.”
“The wine tasting experience at Bernhardt Winery during our getaway weekend was exceptional. The picturesque vineyard setting, knowledgeable staff, and diverse selection of wines made it a memorable visit. Highly recommend for fellow wine enthusiasts. Cheers!”

“This is my favorite place when I go to the Texas Renaissance Festival! When I'm getting a beer before going in to enjoy Menage A Moi the ladies are always so great to see and talk to ❤️ Also I love the cheese perogies on occasion which I can get right next door to the ”
“Greatest dive bar ever... Great staff & atmosphere.... And an awesome band this past Saturday... "The James Henry Band" and it was James B'Day, great day @ The Hole.”
“I got half rack of ribs to go. I was planning on taking a picture. They looked and smelled great, hard not to eat on the road. Started eating as soon as I was in the door. Sorry, no picture. They were great. Can't wait to come back and get a loaded baked potato, they looked great.Kid-friendliness: Had high chairs for the little ones.”
“This is one of my favorite local food choices. Really good street tacos! The tamales are also my favorite. Great prices as well. The service is pretty good considering how busy they are. It's a taco truck, so there's not much ambiance. lol. Nothing fancy but I still keep coming back.”
“My husband loves Yellow Rose. We were close and I lost a bet....so his choice. Pleasantly surprise....i have a terrible palate for anything other than blue moon or miller lite. Their Mein Shatz was perfect. Corn hole for the gaggle of kids we brought worked out. Needless to say .... im driving home. My husband spent $100 on beer and swag.”
“Used to be a frequent flyer but the place was closed every time I tried to go by so I went elsewhere. I believe their hours updated, so finally was able to return recently. Got a burger and must say it was probably the best burger I've had in town! Keep in mind this is a bar, not quite kid friendly but if you're looking for a great bite to eat and friendly atmosphere for adult time, this is it!Parking: Good amount of parking on the side, there is parking I'm the back”
“They have really good food. Great service, and the shrimp ?rice was tasty. They have Ribeye specials on Friday's. It was the best steak ? I've had in a while. ?”
“I am the WCE local Magnolia chapter leader go to my page to learn more, but this place was gracious enough to allow us to host our meeting there. Best place ever. hopefully will be able to host future meetings there. If you’re looking for the best little coffee shop in Magnolia and don’t want to fight the traffic in either direction here! It’s the best place to start your day.”
“Staff was all very friendly as soon as you walk in. My friend tried their iced Chai and I had an iced vanilla coffee. Their pastries are delicious! Their gift section is adorable and has an array of unique items. Definitely a spot I recommend to anyone visiting, or locals. The atmosphere was uplifting, clean, and cozy.Parking: Medium open sized lot about 30 spaces, most available, but parking is all over this part of town. It’s a small section, but free parking is provided and is plentiful.”
“I am new here! This is my third time coming and I can say the food is very delicious and flavorful overall the customer service is great. Always greet us with smiles , will definitely be coming back .”
“The best tacos I’ve had in a long time, especially the lengua and pastor. The lengua was so tender and the pastor had an amazing crunch that elevated the flavor. Quick service for to-go. We will definitely be back.”
“Overall great experience. Debated on giving 4 stars only because it took awhile to get my order but they were also extremely busy, so I won't hold that against them considering the entire staff seemed to be on the ball.Food was good, if you order the Biscuits and gravy make sure you have an appetite. It's HUGE.”
“Always like checking out new hamburger joints. I discovered Burger Fresh after my acupuncture session at Clear Choice Wellness in Montgomery. My German Shepherd, Kira, goes with me and she hangs out in the truck during my session. I like to walk Kira afterwards so we went to Memory Park.I accidentally saw Burger Fresh on the way and after our walk I dropped back by.I got the 1/3# cheeseburger on sourdough bread. It was excellent, as good a cheeseburger as I have ever had. They also offer some craft burgers I may try next time. For cheeseburger lovers, I highly recommend Burger Fresh!!!”
“This is the most underrated spot in Montgomery TX. Been here decades and participated in many cook offs. Little bitty building without flare just a seasoned look. Oh but when that brisket hits your tongue your lips can't help but smile. If you like go to the fancy dancy pretty restaurants do so, but for me, I'm sticking with lifetime results of fine eats.”
“Don’t let the outside of the restaurant fool you. I almost did & very glad we decided to go in. Food is delicious! Service was amazing. Will definitely be back.”
“10.27.22 We tried Gabby's for the first time for lunch. It was super cute and clean. They were also very busy when we got there. (That's always a good sign) We ordered a shrimp po-boy with veggies instead of French fries. My husband had the beef fajita tacos. The gentlemen who was our server was so helpful with the menu. Due to my allergies sometimes I have a ton of questions. He did not seem to mind. (So sorry I forgot his name) (he was related to the cook I think) He was so polite! The shrimp in my po-boy was good and the bread was so fresh. I would definitely get it again. My husband said the tacos were good. We will return here again.”
“great experience, began a new tradition with friends. dress up and have a good time!Parking: there are wheelchair accessible parking spots and there is a electric wheelchair kiosk at the entrance. golf arts available to shuttle you closer to the front gates.Kid-friendliness: some risky outfits ,but all in all a great time for family and kidsWheelchair accessibility: rental for the day $ 99 or $15 per day. bit muddy ,but easily accessible”
