“Service was excellent. Food came quickly and was nice and hot. The teriyaki plate was good. The yellow curry was good. I like my curry a bit spicier, but this is a pho joint, so, I still give them good marks. Drinks never hit bottom. Servers were very polite. I’ll come back for the pho next time I’m around.“

“JoeOne has become our go to place for hibachi. We don’t even go to the traditional hibachi places anymore. JoeOne is cheaper and tastes just as good, if not better than the others. Love this place. I try to make it by once a week. The owners/employees are very friendly also.“

“I have traveled throughout the country to various places and can say hands down this is the best pho I’ve ever had. The broth is full of flavor and the pho has carrots and broccoli added into it…delicious!! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The woman running the restaurant is an absolute delight who truly enjoys serving people and the art of making food so delicious. This was our first time visiting tonight but we will be back soon because it was THAT good!!“

“The pho and buon bo hue was delicious. The food portion for appetizer is on the smaller side. Spring rolls were very skimpy as well. We also offered com bo luc lac with a side of fried egg and it tasted delicious!Bambu drink #10 was still kind of warm. I’ve been to other location and this drink lacked shaved ice.“

“So far this place has never failed us when we needed a quick bite or soup slurping It's been almost 3 years since we frequented this place. Not because we live intnhe vicinity but because we love the food and the quick service. Their staff is very patient and very helpful. They never rush you and very helpful to give you options and their opinion is highly considered. “Some of the better Thai food I’ve had in a long while in Houston. It was very flavorful , the only thing not too good was the children’s teriyaki chicken I got for my son . But the pad Thai and Thai fried rice was very good . Service was ok . But they say if the service is not that good , you know the food will be ?❤️“

“Tried this spot for the first time and was not disappointed. We had good food and pretty good service as well. The atmosphere is nice and chill with anime playing in the background. The lady who brings out the food checked on us multiple times throughout our moments in the establishment. If we are in the mood for this food while in the area, we will check it out again.“

“This is my second time dining at Monks Bistro and each time has been amazing. From the moment we walked in we felt we were i impressed.The staff is friendly and super attentive, they greeted us as soon as we walked in. The food is fresh, flavorful,, authentic, and full of amazing Indian spices. We had the magical Maggie rolls, Vindaloo with lamb, street styled chicken wings and naan bullet bread. The portions are very generous definitely enough for two people. They also have free self serve soup during specified hours.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazingly delicious authentic Indian food. If you’re new to the area or on the fence about trying g this place, just go….you will not be disappointed.The ambiance is very nice…only wish they played cultural specific music to further enhance the ambiance. Open, clean layout with lots of windows.Several portion size options and pho combinations.We ordered the fried dumplings and got the steamed, but they slayed! “The food was delicious, but it's the customer service that I came here to brag about. My father-in-law fell (not the restaurant's fault, he tripped over himself), and the staff was so helpful and patient with us during the whole ordeal. We took him home to get patched up, and I ran back to place a to-go order, and again, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I really can't thank them enough for helping us out.We got the yellow curry with chicken, one medium and one extra spicy, fried rice (spice level medium), and Thai tea and all of it was absolutely delicious!“
