“I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s absolutely beautiful! Everyone working there seems so happy and is always wonderful. Michelle is a dream! We love this place. To the point we go multiple times a week. Live music on Saturday night and cute as can be! Everyone is well trained in wine and services and it’s amazing. Even if you don’t care for wine they have beer and people willing to help find a wine for you. Try the small serving and enjoy them all. Patio is also dog friendly and they normally give my dogs treats and water. I think my pups love it just as much. ☺️ flatbread is amazing.“

“I have eaten at Giro numerous times, including their awesome wine dinners. I have never left a review until now. We contacted Diego’s Deli (if you have not visited the deli in the back of the restaurant, you are missing out) to prepare charcuterie boards for an important family gathering. We told them we would pick them up at 5pm on Saturday. I called them on Friday at noon and asked if we could pick them up at 11am on Saturday, 6 hours earlier than I originally indicated. They said no problem and did it with a smile. The charcuterie boards were a hit at the patty - delicious, beautiful presentation and the accompanying focaccia bread and dips were enjoyed by all. Thank you Giro and Diego’s Deli!“

“My Wife and I frequent beautiful restaurants like Kirby’s Steakhouse, but last night’s Kirby’s Steakhouse experience was phenomenal.From the front / reception with Astrid and her team to the appetizers / wine / main entrees / birthday dessert, facilitated by Korey, was an excellent evening.Korey’s knowledge, attention to detail, and astuteness to our questions was unbelievable. He undoubtedly knew all the menu items and articulated very clearly / carefully.The food preparation / presentation / taste resembled culinary artistry. The quality indisputably was exceptionally above anything I’ve tasted. The Kirby cocktail sauce was like none I’ve ever tasted, a unique blend of sweet and spicy ingredients.The Steak-n-Cake entree was unbelievable. The steak was very very tender, and could be cut with only a fork. I’ve never tasted a well done steak with a little crisp on the outside and very moist / soft on the inside. The lump crab cake and sauce was an awesome combination. This far surpassed any east coast entree I’ve ever consumed. Phenomenal!The potato chip crusted red fish, with the lump crab and spinach risotto was incredibly tasty and something my Wife has never experienced. very tasty and a proprietary product like no other.While the food was outstanding, it was enveloped with Korey’s outstanding / customer-first service efforts! Korey’s been doing this for quite some time, because he constantly surveyed our needs and showed up at the right moment with the right items, without any requests. “They did a magnificent job transforming this location from the "Snooty Pig". It is decorated like a 4-star plus restaurant you'd see in a nice area in a big city. We were there at dinner time on a Friday night. It was very slow, surprisingly. If it was in a different location, the bar would be full of people! We had a family of 5 eat two appetizers, the spinach-artichoke dip and the clams. They were both amazing. I used all the bread and ordered more just to soak up the juices and sauce. We thought they were just a bit overpriced by about $2-$3 each. We ordered the Ribeye, the Sirloin, and the Seafood Pasta. It was all very good. My only issue was pricing. The location and average pricing compared to other restaurants of the same caliber makes me believe they are slightly higher priced by $4-$6 per main dish. My daughter got the chicken strips. They were so huge and of great quality. The sweet tea was refreshing. However, it had a weird after taste. The wait staff were good, especially when we had to send the sirloin back because it wasn't medium. It came out very "blue". They recooked it perfectly. We will definitely be back when we have a little higher budget and want good food!“

“I had a long layover and wanted somewhere to go with healthier food options. The server was amazing and knew the wine list and the food options personally. He directed me to great choices. I picked the single cheese plate with the Manchego, Humboldt Fog, and brie. The brie was a little disappointing compared to the other two cheeses, but the Fog stole the show. The Traditional bruschetta was excellent! The bread was perfectly light but sturdy enough to hold the toppings. I read my book and relaxed with amazing food and actually enjoyed my layover. I highly recommend this place if you have the time.“

“Chef Point was the perfect place for my birthday dinner. We made reservations ahead of time and our numbers went a over the initial count (20 people). They were very accommodating to the extra numbers we hadn't accounted for. We sat on the patio and was the only party out there, which was perfect since we had small children that could play around without bothering other guest. Our server was transparent about them being short staffed, however we never felt a gap in service at all. The food was delicious! I had fried green tomatoes and salmon pisatta, both were great! Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the atmosphere. I now understand why one of the couples there says Chef Point is their favorite restaurant. We will be back for sure!“

We sat inside this time, and the noise level was just right so we could talk without feeling like being overheard. The outside patio is very nice as well. And they graciously comped dessert to wish us a happy anniversary.“

Our service at our last visit 4/27/24 was not the best as our server vanished multiple times which was even more problematic since we had a party of six which inherently requires more attentive service. We attempted to flag down other servers to let our server know that we needed him to little avail as most put on their blinders and ignored us. This dinner was a special occasion to celebrate my birthday and would have been a great experience if our server had not got missing so often. It would be worthwhile for Winewood management to implement team service like Hillstone restaurants which it knocks off.“

“Was wanting some Italian and found this place. Walked in staff immediately sat me no issues and the water came by. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a few things. Unfortunately, the subs were only for lunch cause I wanted to try the meat ball sub. It was not fated to be. Settled for the lasagna, which reminded me of mom's lasagna, "chef kiss," it was delicious. My buddy got yhe spaghetti, and I think he licked the plate clean. All I all the place was good. Lasagna 8 outa 10 very beefy Spaghetti 6 outa 10 Wait, staff 8 out of 10 liked that he gave me the run down on the menu I would come back if in the area“
