The salsa actually had some spice! The food was good and plenty. The queso actually had peppers in it. They were friendly and didn't rush us or anything.

Traditional, family cooked food at its finest. Absolutely delicious, and the staff is wonderful! Can't wait to come back down.
Our friend has Celiac and has to have Gluten free food. The owner/cook came out and spoke with our friend and he made a spinach enchilada on a corn tortilla. We tried a special queso dio and their tortilla chips are also gluten free. It was a great experience. Great people! And great food!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free!!

No Parking Available. However the walk is worth it. The selection of food plates is good. We have dishes here that are difficult to find unless you search for them. The flavor of everything is fresh, even the take out plates are still fresh tasting when you get home. The chips are thick and are sometimes hard to bite. The tortillas are thicker than I prefer but again are warm and tasty. I have gotten mixed feelings about the service. There are hand written signs posted about offerings but when asked about the item have been advised have run out. Disappointing. Tried to call in an order to go and was asked for credit card payment in advance. I understand and respect the need for payment to prevent fake orders but I felt uncomfortable so drove over and waited.Again the overall experience has been good.

Walked in place was dirty took for ever to get drinks and when the food was brought out the beans where cold rice was cold there the shrimp was over cooked and tails were still on no manager at not they can stand around and talk but not do there job we won’t be back this is

We are Mexican food prudes..Can't help it, we're from San Diego. Areas are different... and these flavor profiles just did not work for us. Chicken lacks flavor... Barbacoa was dry .
Walked into this restaurant with my three small children and guy was spraying round up right by the door, my husband had to ask him to stop spraying around our kids. Do the owners not know how bad that stuff is for children to breathe in? I saw a couple with a baby walk by the spray right behind me. The spray was literally next to my children. They need to do that before or after the restaurant is open.
I love this little place but it needs more room for it's customers to enjoy. The Menudo was great just kind of pricey for being a Mexican soup. The Barabacoa was great. It wasn't greasy and there was no fat!
