Whistle Hill's Downtown Cafe offers excellent service, delicious food at a good price, and generous portions. Visitors enjoy fabulous people and homecookin' favorites like the breakfast sandwich with thick cut bacon, chorizo burrito, biscuits and gravy, and quiche of the day. The chicken fried steak is fried to perfection and huge, while the pancakes are some of the best—even if the syrup could be better. Coffee comes in huge cups and tastes great, and the friendly staff provides quick service. While the food and service are praised, visitors are warned to be careful when entering the front door due to uneven flooring. The cafe is kid-friendly, but wheelchair accessibility could be improved. A must-visit for a tasty, hearty meal.
