“This restaurant is our “Go-To” hot-spot for breakfast on weekends! Their pancakes are phenomenal, their biscuits and gravy?… well, GRUB! And their Eggs Benedict are delicious. Our grandsons loved the hot chocolate and my 82-year old mom was blown away by the blueberry pancakes. Highly recommend this place.”

“Smithville Brewing is a fantastic addition to the Smithville area. Amazing beer, great atmosphere, great service, nothing better! Spacious interior seating and beer garden in the back! The beer garden is packed with yard games and comfy chairs for patrons to enjoy like Disc Golf and corn hole. Great food to go with everything as well, the nachos are fantastic, great burgers, great pizza, and don’t forget the massive Bavarian pretzel with out of this world beer cheese and mustard dipping sauces.This has quickly become a new favorite in our family for a great night out for beers and food!”

“The food is your basic Tequeria fare. Tacos,tortas,and things like this. The aquas refresca are very good; and if you've never drank one; give it a whirl. This has become my new taco spot. Good ”

“The atmosphere is so cool! The music was fantastic! We had spicy edamame for appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!! We had the Portabella Pizza and so good! The ranch dressing on my salad was delicious!! You absolutely have to try the homemade mozzarella sticks. Delicious!”

“We were there last week all the way from Andalusia Al , and enjoyed it so much. We had the sweetest waitressI would highly recommend the place. Our daughter and granddaughter ate and the food looked fantastic, they really enjoyed it.Also we stayed only 1 block down the street at Katie B&B and also highly recommend that place as well. If ever I come to Texas again I’ll be back to both places.Oh the waitress gave me a hugger( what we call a kouzie in Alabama) Thank you”

“Such a cozy and inviting place to grab a coffee. I only had a cinnamon roll so I don't think it's fair to rate the food. The morning barista was friendly and efficient. It's so nice to get a real latte made with a real espresso machine! I went back in the afternoon for a cup of chai hot tea and the person working there at that time was also super friendly and welcoming. Will be back!”

They were ok but very bland in taste there were not much breakfast sausage, we went early in the morning perhaps just getting things ready i hope. “The food here is always fresh and taste great, they have a HUGE menu with plenty of choices and really decent prices and a shaded outdoor seating area to eat your food. The only con about this place is that it is Cash Only, but other than that no complaints.”

“Good Food, Great portions, clean dinning and kitchen areas condiments, in sealed units. Vegetables in cute old car trunk display. Reasonable prices. But note, They close at 3pm. They do not make any more tea from 2pm if the tea runs out! Only draw back!”

“Ate lunch there yesterday (3/6/24) with my coworker and both of us really were impressed with the tacos. I had one fajitas taco and one brisket taco and both of them were excellent. “Ordered a Chicken fried steak sandwich last night with a side of cream gravy to go.. It was massive. I love their Regular CFS and wanted something smaller. Wow, what a treat, covered it in cream gravy and knife and forked it.. So good!I have eaten CFS at the best places in Texas.Goodson's is rated #1 by Texas Monthly.This CFS is way better.. The coating is the best. Not heavy. And great gravy that doesn't taste like it's from a mix. Highly recommend!”

“Okay is it smoky in this place? Yup And for sure. Is it a fun place to meet the locals? Yes it sure is. Friendly down to earth small town folks. Good music and a dancing floor. Located in the quaint small town of smithville. I had a great time. And let me say it again, it's smoky and I don't smoke. Reminded me how all bars used to prior to the no smoking laws. It would be nice to have some ventilation of air for the non smokers, but it was still a fun time at a local hole in the wall bar. You should go and see for yourself. Parking was not a problem. Karaoke on Friday. Heard some good signers.”

“I went in to get a sandwich and this sweet girl waited on me. Had the best patients ever, kept her cool and just smiled. She had 3 customers to take care of while one coworker just walked around and wiped the clean tables. After she finished the customer in front of me. Another coworker appeared but just walked past and went to the back. She finished with me and help the next customer. Neither of the two coworkers ever stopped and helped her. What an amazing person to keep her composure while working with such lazy coworkers. I would be embarrassed if those two boys were mine. I hope management looks at how hard some employees work and others don’t.”

The food and atmosphere represents DQ Incorporated and the original franchise owner, Mr. Smith, very well. Always clean, always friendly, and always busy. That speaks volumes.”
