“Excellent small town Mom & Pop restaurant. All the food was great with the exception of the mashed potatoes. They were not creamy at all & hard. We enjoyed pork chops, chicken fingers & gravy & burgers. We also had chocolate cake & cheesecake after. ? Service was great. Family friendly restaurant that also has a small “
“The food was wonderful! We had Trojan burgers. The onion rings were very good, but the Trojan burger was excellent! Highly recommend! The service was also very good, the waiter was crazy busy, but he was very friendly and we were pleased with the service.“
“Hands down best restaurant in Central Texas. Food is original, healthy, and delicious every time. Quesadilla Burger is to die for. The carrot cake may be the best cake I have tasted anywhere in my life. The first building burned down and the place only came back better!“

“Smoking Buns is an amazing find. We live in Temple so it's a bit of a drive to West, TX but, absolutely worth the wait. I have learned in my time that you should never pass up restaurants because of their appearance or the surrounding area. That said, from the parking lot, you can smell that there is an amazing BBQ meal awaiting you. The inside decor is very inviting and feels like home. Ordering was a breeze and the service was great. I got their sliced brisket sandwich with a side of onion rings. The brisket was very good but when you add some of their BBQ sauce it becomes so good that y'all will order more. We plan to visit Smokin' Buns at least monthly!! Highly recommended!!“
