Food absolutely delicious, big portions, creamy beans, guacamole fresh and fantastic, friendly and inviting staff, worth every penny. Can't wait to try some other dishes. Cooks are amazing. “Willie's Place came as a recommendation from a couple of guys I work with. As luck would have it my wife & I found it by accident as we were driving around town. After an appointment this afternoon I looked up Barbecue Restaurants Near Me on Yelp! and Willie's Place Ranked top of the list. It's a rather small place & looks a little weathered on the outside, enough so, that my Thai wife gave me that "look" as we pulled up. I told her that places like this are the best kept secrets in the U.S. When you walk in you are immediately overwhelmed by the wonderful smell of smoked brisket. The menu is on the wall and there are more hamburgers available than you probably thought possible. Or at least more than I thought possible. Next time I go back I'm going to close my eyes & just point to one. And the BBQ. My wife had the Big Rib Plate & I had the Three Meat Plate (ribs, chopped brisket & sausage). We both had a side of potato salad & baked beans. There was absolutely; nothing we could complain about. The baked beans were piping hot, the potato salad was delicious & the ribs...the ribs practically fell off the bone. THAT tender. The chopped brisket & sausage was delicious as well & I think my preference may lie with the brisket. At the time I ordered the brisket the gentleman taking my order (Willy himself? I should have asked) informed me that the only brisket they had at the moment was chopped as the sliced brisket was being smoked. After our plates came out he brought out a few slices of brisket that my wife & I shared. We thought that was pretty nice. While Willie's Place is small it is warm & down home comfortable. I can't remember if they have bottled beer or not but they do have Coke products & iced tea. One last thing: our two plates + two sides + two sweet teas (free refills) cost us $40.00. My plate alone was $20.00 but it came with plenty on the plate. Chopped brisket, sausage, ribs, a bowl of baked beans, potato salad, a slice of Texas Toast & a side of BBQ sauce. It was worth it. All of it. And the wife was happy too. Long review. Great food. We'll be back. One last thing: Best barbecue we've had since we moved to Wichita Falls.“

“Great find in Wichita Falls, TX. Parking is limited, but after driving around a couple of times. I got a place in back. First time here, I almost didnt see why this place was so busy due to difficulty in parking. I had the Pulled Pork Nachos and a Half order of Mozzarella sticks. The pulled pork is awesome. “I met my parents at Bricktown, which is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to eat, my mom and dad both had the bricktown cheese burger one with fries and one with the chips. The burgers and the sides got rave reviews from them. I had the brick town club for the first time and it was delicious, this place never fails to impress be it with the overall environment, the amazing service, or the mouth watering food. Last but definitely not least our waitress Taylor was an absolute joy and always right there when we had a question or needed a refill!! I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family!“

“I’m typing this from the parking lot… BEST BURRITO EVER! “Julian’s Burrito” I’ve been all over Texas, New Mexico, Southern California… dam. Giant Homemade flour tortillas wrapped around like a 2lb burrito and it is cheap for all that it is. I didn’t even use the salsa but my wife said it was good. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area. The service was fast and friendly as well.“

“The building caught my eye while I was picking up beans from the Duck, and I thought about how nice it would be to have pizza with my boys. It was a busy errand day, but money be tight and I decided to skip it... until my toddler innocently asked for pizza at the end of our errands and I figured... must have been God telling me to get pizza ? the pizza was fantastic! “I went to get some lunch while I was in town running errands and tried their pho since I am an absolute maniac about a good pho. I got a large #P-08 (round and fatty brisket) pho and was pleased with the taste. It was a little sweet but I was able to mask that with some sriracha. It was a little pricier that what I am used to paying for just pho (~16 after tax I believe) but it’s definitely the best I’ve had in town so far. The restaurant looked very clean and nicely decorated and the waitress was very sweet and attentive!“

“Having had authentic ramen back in California, I would say the food here is decent for American taste. Firstly, I noticed the gyoza deep fried versus pan fried. Secondly, I saw the ramen were all boiled, rinsed, and then topped with soup and toppings. Traditionally, the ramen should cook in soup, as the taste is in the ramen per bite. The service here was fast, and I found the price reasonable. The decor inside provided enough ambiance for foreign taste. Being the only ramen spot around, I would say the taste is good but not best.“

“Wichita Falls, TX. First off this is a log cabin and the interior is right out of the 1950s I think. Looks original. The interior is lowly lit and it took a minute to adjust to the light. “I go to this place 4-6 times a month from 60 miles away it's the best buffet in the area by far. Always eat sushi, hibachi, crab and crawfish. Crab is usually on weekends. I’ve went to bougie sushi, buffets, and I’ve ate nasty sushi. That’s almost made me vomit. I really enjoy their sushi like of course it’s not $30 per person sushi but it’s very good for what you’re paying. The place just got renovated and it looks nicer. Better than feast in okc. Service is usually really good, sometimes during dinner they will rush u if u eat a lot of food expeshally traveling from 60 miles away we eat about 1.5 to 2 hours.“

“What? I can't believe my taste buds. I ordered the Catfish & Shrimp dinner and a side salad bar. I hurt myself. This catfish and shrimp are some of the best in the country. If you live local, you know what I'm talking about. If you are passing through...STOP HERE! Served with creamy cole slaw and choice of fries or okra, this is an all-you-can-eat buffet, but a single platter of wonderful. The catfish and shrimp did not have any fancy seasoning, it was plain good. It was as close to GOOD home cookin' as you could possibly get. Only my stepmom can make comparable fried catfish, she uses seasoning. But this place cooks catfish and shrimp to crispy, moist flavorful perfection. We eat catfish freshly caught from the river, but this is the best! I took half my food home. Tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and lemons are provided, but they are truly condiments, not cover ups for flavor. It was so good, I ate until I hurt myself. I haven't even mentioned the simply fresh salad bar. Love their blue cheese dressing! Dont let the outside, keep you from going inside. It has a great atmosphere lots of space, clean and so friendly. The server was very welcoming and made sure I was taken care of. I'm home now and wanna go back!“

“Branding Iron is served cafeteria style, you go through a cafeteria line, help yourself to the sides. The food is top notch delicious and reasonably priced. The place is clean and decorated in a western fashion. I haven't seen them selling their half chickens lately, and I'm afraid they're gone and they're my favorite but all their food is worth it. “I have a love-hate relationship with Red. Robin, mostly because half the time the burgers are super expensive and the other have the time they're running specials like $10, gourmet cheeseburger Tuesday and so like on Tuesday. It's a real good place to go get a hamburger but any other day of the week my friends be taking me and I'm trying to get hamburger and it cost like $18 and that's no bueno. But I'll say this the quality of the burgers is good. The endless french fries is pretty good too, but it's terrible if you're on a diet, so be careful with those. Remember to be counting your calories while you're eating them. French fries. I think each french fry a baskets like 350 calories. So you know you got to be careful. You like six of those and you're like done for the day. Anyhow, the food is good. Appetizers are generally pretty good. The service is amazing and all around pretty good restaurant but don't let my friends hear me say that because they think I hate it because I don't want to go there every 5 days. Anyhow, I definitely recommend it and y'all are doing great. Keep up the good work! Oh and the manager was so nice. She came up to us and talked about MSU for like a solid like 5 minutes, but I'm pretty sure if we didn't want him to. He probably wouldn't have stayed that long. “Big shout out to Ramon! What an amazing person. There was 13 of us and he was so pleasant and stayed on top of our drinks and shrimp. Most of us had the endless shrimp and Ramon was constantly putting in orders for more shrimp. He smiled and laughed right along with us. “I had a lot of fun with my friends for this only hibachi restaurant! The decor was spectacular and the layout of tables and bars were well spaced. Celebrating my birthday, I confirm this place to be perfect for Japanese themed party. The servers were on point collecting everyone's order for the chefs to make. The chef we had was good in cooking but basic for grill performance. For example, the volcano onion I took an image of was only 3 pieces rather the whole half skilled chefs could do. However, the food was tasty. Considering the price, I would suggest going for parties. If you are expecting hibachi quality, then please don't expect too much from the chefs, as everyone has different experience levels.“

Our waiter, whose name I did not catch, was one of the best I have ever had there. The Chicken Enchilada Soup and the Old Fashioned Burger were perfect.“

We just moved to the Wichita Falls area so today was our way trip and I will say that we will definitely be back! The employees were so nice and helpful. The food came out fast and was great. You get a stamp on your way in along with your kids to show that you came in together. Then when you leave, the employees actually check your stamp to make sure your stamps match and no one is leaving with a baby that isn’t there’s. Someone was almost to the door to leave and the employee actually caught up to the family to check their stamps. It made me feel so safe and proud of their procedures.“

That being said, I ordered the quesadilla and I'm used to being able to eat a quesadilla with my hand, but theirs is so large and filled with the brim with stuff that it's more of a fork and knife ordeal. So I wouldn't recommend getting the quesadillas unless you're ready for that. But everything else my friends had and are queso all looked delicious. Whatever I had last time. “We went on March 1 in the evening. Due to an electrical outage on the other side of town the restaurant was busier than I have ever seen it. The manager Dominique explained that they were very busy but would get us seated as quickly as possible. I was impressed that this young lady was all over the place taking care of customers but she was kind enough to come to the people that were waiting and let them know she knew we were there and wanted us to know we would be taken care of. Then we were seated and the young lady that was our waitress, named Chelsea was the absolute best. She was attentive and friendly and made sure we were taken care of. She was really kind to us. One of the members of our party was very picky but the young lady just smiled and took care of everything. I have been in retail for 42 years and dealt with a lot of issues, but these girls who are less than half my age were such a welcome refreshing change from the service you get most places. We were so impressed by the whole encounter and had a great meal to boot. Great job ladies!!!“
