“Food was delicious. Got the crab cake and it didn't disappoint- not too fishy and had great flavor. Chicken sandwich was good as well as the potato salad. Seasonal sangria pineapple mint was like juice and super delicious - if you don't like sweet drinks would avoid. Great service and the outlook to the greenery outside made it really tranquil.“

“We always make it a point of stopping here for lunch after swimming at Blue Hole. We had Bambi as our server yesterday and she was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and so incredibly sweet. Food was excellent and don’t forget to grab a slice of pie.“

I had the BBQ Chicken, rest of our peeps had the All you can eat mixed ribs, brisket & other BBQ deliciousness. The meat is cooking on a huge, open pit as you enter, so your mouth is watering before you even sit down! Sides were outrageous! I think we all stated that we had never been as full as we were when we left with protruding, satisfied bellies! Lots of inside & outdoor seating under large shade trees. Amazing, amazing, AMAZING!“

“A friend recommended this Brewery in San Marcos. We visited this place in afternoon. As soon as we approached the property, we saw a deck in the rooftop and a food truck. “I was excited to try out the Thai food scene in San Marcos and came across this Asian supermarket with a restaurant in it, I was excited to try it out! I liked the ambiance of a family-owned market/restaurant. Pad Thai - This wasn't the best Pad Thai I ever had, but I loved the flavors in this dish. It was too sweet for my palate, but I could still enjoy the different flavors and textures. Loved the crunchiness of peanuts in this dish! A plus - this was a huge portion! Overall, I would definitely come here again and try some of their noodle soups!“

“The smoked chicken on top of the butter lettuce salad was not near as delicious as it was the previous times I ordered it. This alone probably would not have led to me updating my review, but I was treated very rudely. Multiple servers are at the bar waiting to take orders. We had already ordered our meal and eaten; my daughter wanted a pretzel. There were some customers standing behind each server, with a slightly longer line to the side. It was confusing; I thought there were multiple lines. Wanting to quickly order my daughters pretzel so I could go sit back down and spend time with my visiting family members, I chose what I thought was the shortest line. The female server shamed me for accidentally cutting in line and sent me to where I was supposed to go very rudely. Completely unnecessary and could have been told very nicely where the line is. Especially when there is no signage, and annoyingly, there are no menus to look at when you are waiting in this required line. You must wait til your turn at the counter to see what the options are, and then hurriedly scan the menu to order, as you are aware of the waiting line behind you. You can feel the impatience of the servers as well. And you're thinking, "why don't you put some menus back at the beginning of the line so that I'm prepared when it's my turn?" But somehow they make it feel like the customers fault that you aren't ready. Also, since there is no table service my father chose to tip 20%, rather than the default 24%, yet when he went to sign they had increased it back to 24%. For rushed counter service with no time to look at the menu! Regardless, I would have left my previous 5 star review up, had the lady at the counter not treated me so rudely and embarrassed me in front of other customers, painting me as an intentional cutter, in other words, a bad person. In her defense, I think she actually perceived that I was. She sure showed me! What a good human, putting people in their place like that and teaching them lessons. Only removing 1 star because I'm hoping the downgrade in food and service is a fluke. Will probably go back at some point to see if that is case or if they have just gotten lazy. Regardless, they really need to make menus accessible while you are waiting in line. It would make it more obvious where the line is, too.“
