“First time to visit the place. We started with Bluefin calamari. I had Ahi Tower, my son got the Bulgogi bowl and husband was excalibur. Very nice presentation. Everything good. Service was really fast and the place and atmosphere was pleasant. Friendly people too. Definitely my new favorite restaurant coz I love Japanese food. Price is reasonable too. Highly recommend. You’ll be impressed.“

“Dinner takeout was superb tonight. Lion King, Shrimp crunch, and Spicy T rolls all came home still crunchy and decent temp. The portions were fair. Didn’t feel like wallet got reamed. There was a slight hint of smokiness that added greatly to the flavor. They were quick too, about ten minutes for three rolls.Kid-friendliness: Staff spoke with my three year old, who kept asking for fresh lemonade. Friendly place. Highly recommend.“

“Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday and the food and service did not disappoint. We ordered tempura udon, a spicy pork bento box, a roll over roll, and a tempura roll. The portions were huge and the food tasted great! Definitely worth the price (especially lunch specials). Our server even stopped by and gave us two items on the house. “My son and I love to get sushi together. Just this past weekend, we stumbled across a hidden gem in Murphy, TX. As we walked into Kenzo, the atmosphere immediately took me back to some small neighborhood eateries in the Chicagoland area i used to frequent. it was dim and Clean and art hung from the walls. from bamboo paintings to ceramic wall hangings. The deep red was inviting and they were quick to seat us. As we looked around there were also knic knacks and gifts from what we could only assume were from grateful local patrons. We saw a sign that was made from a local 17 year old patron of wood and plastic which my son and i agreed must have been cut precisely on a C&C machine and layered together. As an anime fan it was awesome to see the coloring pages of multiple young artists favorite characters... There was Nezuko and Beerus and Goku and well....you get it. On to the food!We went simple with some pork gyoza for an appetizer. For our main lunch we chose Spicy tempura Rolls, Spicy Salmon Rolls and my son definitely need his spicy california roll!The Gyoza was so Crisp and the pork was cooked perfectly. The dipping sauce had a sweet broth flavor. We were pleasantly surprised and i would highly recommend. Unless you need something lighter.The Rolls came out in a family style on one plate and my son and I loved that. From the tight rolls, crispy shrimp and all the way to the tangy eel sauce and spicy mayo... these rolls were on point! They hit the spot as we were completing our meal, our server went to a hidden fridge and surprised both of us with a vanilla icecream bar covered with a chocolate shell. We were a bit thrown off, however it was an awesome pallette cleanser and a great way to wrap a giant red bow on this experience. Hats off Kenzo...Great Apps!, Great Rolls! “My go to sushi place! I love the Yummy Roll and the Sweetheart Roll. They also have my absolute favorite miso soup around. We've tried most of the rolls and they're always delicious. The beef pad thai is also really good.It's a small, cozy and romantic spot. Usually easy to get a table and always ready for pick up orders when you want!“

“Went in with a celebrity baby bash a rapper guy cooking was cool making us laugh joking around real friendly dude. He cooked order way we likes it!,but forgot bash wanted chicken in the rice. They just give everyone a lil bit of everything didn't like that, everyone ordered individually, but just gave you whatever and whatever temperature they wanted. “We went in expecting a fast casual dining experience but ended up with more of a fast food experience. The sushi tasted good, but I had to run my credit card for each individual transaction. For instance, we arrived and purchased drinks (bottle drinks only), 1 transaction. We then decided to get edomame, another transaction. We ordered our sushi, another transaction. My daughter wanted another bottle of soda, another transaction, etc. Etc. The staff was friendly and the food was good, but it just wasn't what we expected.“

The meal was delicious and cooked nicely. The Chef made the meal fun although it was only 4 of us. This location has the one card gaming center as well as a gift shop section. I will come back to try more options next time.“

“This was my first time here. I brought my son because he wanted sushi. They also had hibachi so we tryed the hibachi table where the chef cooks at ur table it was a fun experience. the food was really good they have several meat options I got steak and chicken it comes with veggies and noodles as well as rice (fried-or steamed) a small soup and salad as well not too bad on the price either! it does take a while to get all ur food tho because they cook each group of food at once like the rice1st then the meats then veggies then noodles. They also have just a dining area as well where u can just order the food like a normal restaurant. there is also a bar for drinks. Overall I chose five stars I’m very picky about my food and I couldn’t believe how good everything tasted together!“

“We ordered delivery (UberEats) the shrimp tempura bento with spring rolls and added mushroom. The only issue we had was how soggy/oily the shrimp tempura. The rest of the order was pretty decent. The stir fried veggies with the added mushroom and the spring rolls were pretty good. We'll likely order again but will stay away from the shrimp tempura.“

Always freshly fried to a beautiful crispy golden brown. Always an adequate amount of meat. Lots of rice, hot and tasty noodles. The list goes on.Please give Matsui a try if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. As a bonus, their weekday lunch specials are a great value, with a 1/2 serving of the entree and an included bowl of hot/cold udon/soba with rice for the price of a full size entree only. I've gone for lunch about five times at this point and have always left full and satisfied.Outside of standard mealtimes, seating is easy to get, especially around weekday lunchtime. During mealtimes the food court can get pretty busy, so seating may be a challenge.P.S they do have a small additional charge for takeout orders to cover the cost of to-go boxes and utensils. Not a dealbreaker but can be annoying if you aren't anticipating it.Parking: Plenty available during lunch during the week. Closer you get to dinner or on weekends the less parking there is. Weekends can be particularly difficult to find spots.“

This last time was a birthday meal request from one of our kids and we tried a ton of food: variety of sushi rolls, tonkatsu Ramen, spicy miso Ramen and spicy Ramen, plus takoyaki balls, spam musubi and edamame. “The staff was friendly, I ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and the spicy tuna roll. The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you). The ginger was also very flavorful. Overall very well balanced sushi, with good quality ingredients. The ingredients are what make this place good ?“

Ordered the gyoza dumplings and edemame, which was delicious. I ordered the grilled shrimp, salmon, and scallops platter with fried rice (extra cost but i didn't mind) and miso soup. Delicious! The server we had was awesome, even though he'd been working there for a few days. The others had the ramen or noodle dishes and they enjoyed all of it. Maybe slightly overpriced for certain items, but depends on what you order. I had more tgan enough on my plate and the others with me said the same.
