“It isn't often to find a tucked away gen where the Owners wander the floor and greet the gusts, but guess what Mom's do. They are two good ole boys that really want to say hi. The food was good and plentiful. All of the wait staff were happy and very accommodating. Worthy of a stop and try.“

“I've held off reviewing Vertical Diner for several years now, still mourning the fall from grace it experienced after changing ownership and no longer being Sage's. However, after several years in the wilderness I feel like it has finally built its way back to serious competition for the best vegan food in Utah. The addition of more fresh ingredients, the habanero mango wings, and an improved tempeh bacon and crispy chik'n add to an addictive dipping cheez sauce to make it hard to go wrong. My wife always orders La Mesa, an excellent GF option. I jump around more, but the Ian McKaye mac-and-cheeze burger is a favorite. We eat here 2-3x a month and can strongly recommend it; our carnivore friends have been happy with their food too, since it not only has great flavors but in the last years has got the textures right too.“

Our server was Daniel who we highly recommend, he even gave us some recommendations for drinks off the menu that were fantastic.The bison, relleno, pork chop, and burger were incredible. “I had the ojo de bife (ribeye). Their ribeye is a Wagyu cut. It was delicious, needed a little bit of salt, but overall, it was a delicious steak. Makes me wonder if it is owned by the previous Sweet Tomatoes franchisee and the NDA/Non-Compete has expired, or something. The only difference I found was the blueberry muffins were a bit more 'doughy' than I recall, but that's easily explained by it being an off-day. Everything else was spot on! I've missed this place SO much, it's now back on my dinner rotation!“

“Excelent service. Super friendly and attentive, we came for breakfast and let me tell you their coffee is SO GOOD. (Cafe de holla ) I asked about their coffee and the waiter told me how they make it. I mean what restaurant does that. “- I ordered one of their pizzas to a hotel at midnight.- I take a shower and a perfectly-timed knock comes 15 minutes earlier than quoted.- A friendly delivery girl drops off my pizza (with paper plates and napkins) She does not attempt to get a tip. I paid only a $2 delivery fee.- The pizza arroved so hot I wait a few minutes to eat it.- The pizza was delicious with fresh meats and vegetables. “BEST POKE BOWL IN ALL OF UTAH! You can't go wrong with FreshFin. Looking for a FRESH, filling poke bowl? Look no further. I have been to FreshFin so many times since they opened up. Their poke bowls are jam packed with fresh ingredients such as brown rice, vegetables, chicken, poke, salmon, fried onion, and more. Not only that, their flavors are right on point. I always get the Spicy Tuna bowl. I've had the mango tango before which is also very good, but the Spicy Tuna Bowl always hits the spot. I usually get it with half greens half brown rice as my base, and then it comes with ahi tuna, edamame, crispy onion, sriracha aioli, tobiko, sweet shoyu sauce, jalapeño, and cucumber. This bowl has a "kick", but it is sooooo worth it!! If it gets too spicy then sometimes I will pick out some of the jalapeños. ANYWAY, the buildout for this restaurant is awesome. It's new, fresh, modernly tasteful, and welcoming! The staff is always so friendly and they make their bowls quite quickly. I think I'ave been to this restaurant 15 times (between the two locations) and I will be coming back as long as they're still open! At the end of the day, prices are definitely high, but I often have leftovers!“

For drinks, we had a variety of cocktails and were happy with all of them. The service was good, but a little bit quirky.
