“This Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is located alongside Cold Stone Creamery. On one side of the cash register is Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and the other side is Cold Stone Creamery. Even though it's two businesses in one location, it is a very small store with maybe four small tables. They have most of the basic candies and candy/caramel apples, but they don't have everything that you can find in other places. They don't open until 4pm on Sunday. Good thing I checked online before going over there.”

It’s definitely a hidden gem for seafood lovers in Layton!”

“This taco shop is family owned and their tacos are truly unbelievable every time we stop here (which is way too often). We even had them cater a party recently and they were very professional and polite to all our guests. If you are looking for a taco place to scratch your itch, I can’t recommend Taqueria la Loteria enough. If you stop here, try the Birria - it’s worth every penny.”

“Typical In N Out experience - I love this food chain. Very predictable and delicious. Burger assembled properly. Yummy fries. This new location is clean. Took a client there and loved it. It’s like elevated comfort food.

Dietary restrictions: Their protein burger (lettuce wrapped) does not disappoint. Very good.

Parking: Bright lighting. Easy access off freeway. Drive thru is efficient.

Kid-friendliness: Yes - kid friendly. No play place, but that’s ok.”

When the wait is longer than expected, he offers me a cup for water and asks if there is anything he can get for me while I wait. I've watched him do the same for other customers. I pass multiple pizza places on my way to Westside, but it's worth it every time.”

“ENDORSING WING STOP IN LAYTON UTAH: This is a little anniversary story. (Last night Cathy and I celebrated with the two younger boys--who I also "married" on May 11, 2018. We are celebrating alone this weekend.) A couple of weeks ago, Cathy and I ordered take-out from Wingstop for an at-home date. When I got home, Cathy reviewed the receipt and realized that we had mistakenly received an extra $20 bill in change. The next day, I went into Wingstop and offered the money back. The manager told me that it was not necessary to return the money, and that he wanted to reward our honesty by taking care of our next meal for free. When we decided to get some take out to celebrate with the boys, we decided to use the free meal we had been promised. We thought one meal would be free and planned on paying for the other three meals. Instead, the manager comped all 4 meals! I highly recommend the Layton Wingstop --not only for their exceptional customer service but because the wings and all of their sides are great. (Try the fried corn--it's terrific.) Please don't use this information to try to manipulate free food. Their food is definitely worth the price you pay and they have a great selection of wing flavors!”
