I’ll agree with what has already been said…this ice cream is so beyond “ice cream” that you’ll wonder what you were eating before. It’s so good. Whatever size you get…it wasn’t big enough. And then you’ll wonder how you ate the whole thing. It’s so good.

Sub-Zero is so far beyond ordinary ice cream it's hard to believe they reside in the same universe. My fave is a retired flavor called 'fruity fusion' in the original base, and they kindly mix it up for me though it's no longer on the menu. The nitrogen is fun to watch and makes it freeze differently somehow--utterly scrumptious. The employees are really friendly and helpful here too. I'm gluten free (celiac disease) and when asked they are happy to use clean utensils to avoid contamination. My family's preferred ice cream for many years...now if only they had a branch in AF :)

Sub Zero is not just an ice cream shop, but it's a full experience. You get to watch the cream get zapped with nitrogen and turned from liquid to a frozen concoction right before your very eyes. It's a treat for multiple senses. Today, my family and I embarked on an Ísbíltúr, a road trip designed to find ice cream, and we found ourselves here at Sub Zero. We watched in awe and wonder as the young lady behind the counter did her thing, and then handed over a beautiful masterpiece of strawberry ice cream and whipped cream in a tasty waffle cone. There is plenty of seating inside, and the shop was clean and well lit. I'd happily return again and try even more menu items.

Came inside to get a soda and Italian Ice and the only employee in the store was super friendly. The Italian ice tasted great, and will probably be coming here again soon.
Went there on a whim for a work activity in the middle of the day. There were 10 of us. The restaurant was not very busy so we were able to get in and place orders quickly.The creation of each of the ice cream orders was very individualized. My favorite part was that they had sugar-free ice cream there seven or eight different flavors to choose from and it ended up tasting pretty good. I love the fact that that was an option and I didn't have to skip ice cream due to my low carb diet.The young man making the ice cream worked quickly and did a great job keeping us occupied with conversation. The nitrogen smoke is a little bit gimmicky, but I will admit it was kind of cool to see.I will definitely go there again due to the great service and low-carb menu selections.

As a zen person who is one with the Earth Mother, I was jazzed to discover that this business (the man) had vegan options. I was so excited that my chi almost became unbalanced.I got the oat milk base because oats bring gut health during this season of waning moon.They froze the oat cream in real time using the liquid nitrogen, which is what they say but I’m pretty sure they have some water benders slinking I’ve though the tubes from the back.Anyways, the taste was delicious! It tasted even better than my organic lemongrass pomegranate spirulina chia smoothies.I will be returning often to partake of this glorious goodness, and by so doing honour Mother Nature.

I love that they had vegan options. It tasted amazing. It was cool seeing them make the ice cream with the flavors. I got the mint majestic vegan and it was delicious. When I am visiting again I will definitely be back here.

My kids were asking questions about liquid nitrogen after watching some YouTube videos, so I thought it would be fun to take them here after lunch. We arrived about 40 minutes after they were scheduled to open, but the shop was still closed. Not sure if this location is permanently closed?
