“I am celiac and was so excited to find this bakery! It's a little bit off the main stretch of 7000, but was not difficult to find. We tried all sorts of goodies from there, so here's my honest opinion on everything that I ordered that was gluten free.Peanut Butter cookie - 10/10 - This was by FAR the best thing we tried! 100% don't leave there without getting a peanut butter cookie, it was awesome!Muffin - 8/10 - This was pretty tasty. The flavor was on point. It was a bit dense, but most gluten free things are. I brought it home and microwaved it and ate it with a fork, and it was great! I wouldn't recommend for road food because it did have a tendency to crumble.Donuts - 9.5/10 - These were really good. They are small, but they are rich, so the size is 100% on point. They are a little dense, but the flavor bomb makes up for the dense texture. They did not fall apart at all and were very tasty! 100% recommend.Cupcakes - 9/10 - They did a great job with the cupcakes and were the perfect size and texture for a car treat! They were a bit small, but again perfect for travel.Cinnamon Rolls - 1/10 - The cinnamon rolls were really dense and the taste was disappointing. wah wah...I would recommend making your own at home on these ones.Bottom line - I will 100% be a regular customer here. Almost everything we tried was excellent. This is a great place to go if you are tired of cooking everything at home GF. I felt safe getting food from here, and that made the experience worth every penny. Thank you for offering so many great gluten free options. Your business model is fantastic. I will be recommending you all to everyone.“
“Me and my family love it here! The ladies are always so sweet and kind to us. I also believe they have the best tasting bobas around! Just tried the pot stickers and I love them!!! Thank you for all that you do!!Kid-friendliness: My son loves the ladies!!“
“One of the yummiest matcha lattes I've had in Utah! It is super good and the inside of the cafe is very cute. We got a latte a cake and the parfait and they were all delicious. The owner was so nice and friendly. Definitely recommend!!!“
“I love this place! It is so zen, quiet, and peaceful!Staff is friendly and approachable! It gives the vibe of being home! I usually get iced matcha latte with oat milk! There is a variety of teas for you to choose and they will make it for you.“
“This place easily has the best Mexican pastries in Salt Lake City and even Utah. Their concha’s and tres leches are to die for! Whatever you get, you know it’ll be amazing. The family that owns it are also so kind and attentive. I can’t recommend this place enough!“
“Food and atmosphere was great. The pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten. The lower rating on the staff is only because our waitress seemed a little irritated with my indecisiveness - I felt I was bothering her but it was my first time here so I would’ve appreciated a little more grace.“
“I love it here! Even on busy days, I feel like the staff is attentive and on top of things like water refills. Great service!I don't know where Ogie's sources its bacon, but it's the best I've ever had at any diner. I love the old-fashioned aesthetic. My dad says he used to come to this place about 20 years ago and the food has always been great, and the atmosphere hasn't changed at all. I hope it sticks around for another 20 years and keeps on being the good ol' classic Ogie's!“
“Cute bakery and cafe with an amazing selection of delicious food. The grilled cheese sandwich is taken from everyday to extraordinary with the additional of apricot! The Nutella éclair filled with hazelnut praline and glazed with chocolate butter cream filling, and the wonderfully delicious and unique tiramisu, are both absolutely fantastic. But an entire case of delicious looking options are available. Wash it down with the Dix Signature Chai! Made in-house, it's a perfect blend of spices among the best I've had locally.“
“Wow. Sonic prices, but includes better burgers that are even more fresh. Also, their cinnamon scones? They're like the best, softest donut You've ever had died and was resurrected as a perfected being.... Wow. Just wow. I don't even like donuts. But the prices are actually reasonable. I'm taken back.“
“This is our favorite place to get birthday cakes. The Mango cake is heavenly and not too sweet. I had forgotten to order a cake and they saved the day with one and even did a quick custom message. Amazing service and fantastic food. Highly recommend.“
“Brought my daughter here and we ended up having a private tea party for just the 2 of us. Auntie Rae is so sweet and when i called they already had a party booked for the day and time we wanted, but since it was just my daughter and I, she went above and beyond and accommodated us and we had a room all to ourselves. The scones and lemond curd are AMAZING and the tea sandwiches, cheese and fruit platter was absolutely perfect! We finished our tea lunch with a few tasty treats. I highly recommend this location for a cute tea party or a one on one date with your princessKid-friendliness: There is a little corner for kids to play as you wait for tea (or lemonade)“
“Delicious food and great service! I loved the Rustic Italian panini. I like that they offer half size orders of many of their sandwiches. Their cakes and desserts looked amazing but we didn't order treats today. The big dining area is nice and there's also a small back room if it's extra busy. We were there at 12:15 and it was pretty packed. I'll be returning for sure!“
“I had crab cake Benedict and it was delicious. the service was great. The female waitress was able to give us our check when my husband change his mind and wanted dessert. The waitress said she didn't mind and went to include the cake my husband wanted.“
“Penny Ann's is always great and never disappointing. You will always leave happy and full. You might need a nap after enjoying too much of their delicious food. Often busy especially on the weekends but if you have a small party you can sit at the counter and enjoy the show of the kitchen staff and servers. I generally get the Chile Verde skillet with the pancakes. A perfect meal of savory and sweet.“
“Been going here for years. The food has always been amazing. I tend to stick to the french toast combo for breakfast. For burnch /lunch i recommend the Philly cheese steak with a side a au jus, it's incredible. The staff are always super friendly, the owner/ chef - Adam, is a really funny and cool guy, and the restaurant is clean, warm and welcoming. I challenge anyone to try to find a better place to get breakfast or lunch in thia area. You wont, I've tried most of them, so save yourself from those other places and drop in here, say hello to chef Adam, and get some good food!“
“This place has quickly become our family’s favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, the bread is always fresh and the pastries are to die for. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the employees are very nice. I will always recommend this restaurant. There is also the cutest little gift shop attached to the restaurant that supports local artists as well.“
“Came in last week per recommendation of a friend. Busy & lively atmosphere, loved how the restaurant was decorated. Closest thing I have seen to a popular bakery/restaurant in SoCal in Utah. Don't expect a chill place to work for hours on your computer, or read a book, but a good place to come with friends & enjoy a meal together! All the pastries looked amazing, but they were on the smaller side for the price. My server, Ireland, was friendly, attentive, and I enjoyed my conversations with her. She was clearly busy, but took the time to go over the menu with me & answer questions. You are lucky if you get her as your server! She recommended the blueberry almond croissant, and salmon bowl. I got both and absolutely loved it! The salmon bowl dressing was amazing, and the salmon itself tasted really good for being in Utah. The bowl filled me up, but I didn't feel heavy. I loved the almond paste (is it called frangipane?) in the croissant. I will be back soon to try the avocado toast and the French toast!!“
“I can't praise this coffee shop enough! It's truly the best in town. The coffee is exceptional, boasting rich flavors that satisfy every sip. Pair that with their delicious baked goods, and you're in for a treat. What sets this place apart though, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the lovely folks behind the counter. If you're a coffee enthusiast or just appreciate a cozy cafe experience, this is the spot to visit. Highly recommend!“
“Cute diner with unique food options. Don’t dismiss the burger just because you are here the flavor is something I’ve never had before. Only catch is service can be a bit slow.Parking: Very condensed small parking lot. I’ve never successfully have found a parking spot and many people park in areas not designated for parking which makes a tiny parking lot worse.“
“What an awesome and rare shop! Cute dogs on adoption event days, I got a great drink and a unique birthday present for my sister in one trip! Ty so much to this team and Bryant.Parking: Plenty of room I even saw a truck with a trailer attached“
“My favorite spot to catch up with friends! Highly recommend the mushroom and cheese crepes. They have the perfect amount of cheese pull, umami sauted mushrooms and slightly crunchy crepe.Vegetarian options: Many items are vegan, vegetarian or made for certain dietary restrictions and they are always super friendly and accommodating about it.Parking: Limited parking in a cramped lot. Parallel street parking is available.Wheelchair accessibility: Even though the entrance is raised on a deck, there are ramps all the way up. Probably not the MOST accessible but accommodations are definitely there.“
“I can not express enough how impressed I was with the quality of food and customer service here. It was so good that I returned the following morning. There are very few restaurants that caters a portion of their menu to vegans that put in this type of level of care this place does. My food was seasoned so well that I did not even need to add S&P. Exceptional, thank you!“
“This location is located on the side of a busy side street on the edge of a big building. Parking is available on the side of the street. The cafe is pretty small, but there are many little tables and booths to fit quite a bit of people. It has that classic diner vibe because the tables and the inside are pretty old.I ordered The Big Breakfast. Normally when I go to breakfast or brunch, I choose lunch items over breakfast items on the menu, however, just for Penny Ann's I chose the classic breakfast. Their HEAVENLY HOT CAKES are the only kind of pancakes I actually enjoy and love! Something about their recipe is actually so good! I opted for their hot cakes over my usual breakfast burrito. Their hot cakes are light, airy, and buttery! The service was quick and accurate even though it was busy! The waitresses seemed very experienced and just two waitresses kept the whole place running with no complaints the day I came in. If you're not a giant breakfast fan, I would suggest trying Penny Ann's Heavenly Hot Cakes because even I (not a breakfast foods fan) enjoyed them and would come back to get more if I am ever craving breakfast foods!“
“This is the only place that I will purchase coffee to brew at home. Here’s a cool story: in the midst of 2020 I was trying to find a coffee that I could brew at home and truly enjoy. I had tried a bunch of different brands and was really frustrated because I was not loving any of them. I called these guys and explained some of my preferences, and he suggested the “park city” blend. I went in and picked up the blend he had suggested plus he sent to other blends for me to try so that I could pick the one I liked the best.Well, he absolutely nailed it. The Park city blend is the only coffee I drink at home now it is so good. These guys are third generation, coffee, brewers, and really know their stuff. Go try these guys out.“
“I visit La Barba frequently given its good vibes and upscale look and feel. I'd recommend the latte, which is my favorite. The drip coffee and espresso are a bit bitter for my taste but the quality is good. The avo-toast and coffee cakes are decent but pricy like most of their items. A good place to come chill, grab a coffee, do some work, and meet cool people.“
“Best place for Coffee, Tea, and Computer work!!My new favorite! I love how friendly their staff is and how cute all their pastries are. I especially enjoy their herbal teas that come in a little pot for you to enjoy. They have a lot of sturdy, medium tables for computer work, which I really appreciate. Wifi is fast as well.“
“Great place, love it here! Foods delicious, Western Benni and blueberry pancakes are great.Kid-friendliness: When a server brought my sons pancake it had butter on it and he immediately began to scrap it off…the server held out her hand and he placed the butter right in her hand and she just smiled and was totally chill. Great people working here.“
“I know the owner & talked with him about this place when he was still working on getting it ready to open up as a business.. So, I like it even more because of that. Plus, there is an event room upstairs, which I think is cool. I go Latin dancing there. Salsations Utah puts on Salsa & Bachata dancing on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays (@ night), upstairs, with cool patio views to cool off. Community. Locally made items for sale in the coffee shop. Some games to play are available, in the coffee shop, too.“
“My family loves everything about this place. I love that it’s nestled right within the neighborhood. The food is good, especially the pastries. The vibe is so comfy and welcoming. In the summer, we walk over every weekend. So glad this place exists!“
“Excellent food, friendly place. We had the Hunter's stew and the galupkes. Both were excellent, though if pushed to pick, the stew was my favorite. Desserts were also tasty. Staff is super friendly and the restaurant has the feel of a place that draws a continuous stream of regulars.“
“My girlfriend and I LOVE Sharon's! It's a fun cafe with lots of character. The servers are always nice and efficient. They are so fast! The food is there within 20 mins of ordering, always! I'd definitely recommend eating here!“
“Love this coffee shop. The neighborhood is great so you can sit and chill outside when the weather permit. Inside is also spacious. The coffee is great. I love cold brew here. The brownie is also my favorite: crispy from the outside and melt in the inside. The gelato is also great. This place is also LGBTQ+ friendly. They offer wine tasting and whiskey tasting sometimes so check their calendar on the websiteParking: Lots of space but if you come at busy time, finding parking space can be a but challenging“
“Stopped by this little shop to grab a white mocha on my way into salt lake, the staff was super friendly and came to our vehicle to take our order, the made great subjections and had very affordable pricing for Salt Lake City, the coffee tasted fresh and delicious, my friend also ordered an iced coffee that was fantastic also. The staff who took our payment was also very friendly and talkative and made the experience very pleasant.“
“This place is a definite "find" for us. Although it's about 45 minutes from our house, I can tell you we will be back frequently. The ambiance is solid, with a cozy and intricate setting. The food was outstanding, with a menu that lived up to expectations. The best Panang we've had in Utah for sure. The prices were amazing for the quality and the atmosphere.Overall, I highly recommend it.“
“You need places like this so you can focus on work in public. Food is brought in but good and there is breakfast stuff and snacks coffee. No lunch sandwiches at the moment. Nice conference room and homey feel.Parking: Parking is never a problem.“
“The Chocolate has consistently provided friendly service and delicious treats. We’ve been going to this location for several years and I can’t think of a time I’ve been deeply disappointed in anything. Favorites are their brownies, cake slices and of course the cazookie.“
“Very delicious place. And from the owner's story, they have one of the freshest bobas in town. I did not try their Boba, but I tried their refreshing fruit tea drink. The tea taste went well alongside the fruits (super fruit tea). I like that they have a variety of drinks that are vegan. And for those who like their dairy, a nice selection of other drinks, the brown sugar boba milk one is popular. I can't wait to go back and try their other stuff.“

“Fav Bistro is a wonderful place to dine. The flavour in their dishes is unmatched in my experience around this area. It is my favourite place to eat and nervous times I have gone up for take out as I want to relax at home with a good meal. Great job in creating such wonderful dishes.“
“This spot has the best tacos in all of Utah. I'm from California where you can get hood tacos anywhere. Their meat is super flavorful they never disappoint. No matter what time of the day or week you go . Every good service always friendly with everyone. The quesadillas de al pastor is just wow the best quesadilla I have ever had.“
“Popular for good reason! Delicious food with unique twists on classics. Fresh made juices are a must! Expect to wait, but time flies in the Old Flamingo thrift collective at the back. Staff at both locations are exceptionally friendly. Almost everything can be made gluten free and gf items are marked on the menu for anxiety reduction :) Overall vibe is homey & unpretentious. Portions are big and recipes are unique so expect to pay $15-20/head minimum.Dietary restrictions: Almost everything can be made gluten free and gf items are marked on the menu for anxiety reduction :)“
“Evo Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Customer service throughout the hotel, from front desk staff to cafe barista, skate park staff, retail store staff, yoga instructors, etc was phenomenal! (A shout out to Kennedy who patiently helped us through last min delays from our Amtrak train because of storms.) Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help/accommodate at every turn. We loved how clean and exceptionally well designed all the rooms were - with no carpet (which we loved!), lots of hooks and storage space, interesting artwork, and effective layouts. There are coolers you can borrow if you need to keep drinks cool, the cafe bar has great drinks and pastries, yogurts, and smoothies, and there is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor. As part of the stay, you have access to all the facilities and we enjoyed the evening yoga classes. There are lots of cute restaurants within a few blocks, and parking in the lot or out front was very easy. This is an industrial area, so there are some homeless people around, but we had no issues. With the fantastic customer service, clean & cook vibes, and all the fun amenities, this will definitely be our go to hotel in SLC!“
“I’ve been several times in the past and recently visited for dinner with a group. The food was tasty. I loved the flavors of the appetizers. The burger I had was delicious and the meat was cooked to a medium medium rare and I like that. The service was on point. The atmosphere was cool. I’d definitely come back. I recommend.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate.Parking: Parking can be tricky.Kid-friendliness: Decent kid menu. I’d take my son again.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entrance and tables.“
“We had a reservation for a Japanese soufflé pancake and still had to wait over 30 minutes . It was good but not sure it’s worth the wait. Hot cocoa was good but had some kind of cold cream on top so it was not reallyHot. Cute place. No toilet paper in the bathroom.“
“This all-vegan bakery is a lovely little café in the Maven District and is a welcoming place to come enjoy a coffee and pastry. In addition to vegan options, they also have some gluten free treats for those that prefer or need that. I love seeing so many great options! Service was terrific-we were warmly greeted and given some guidance after the person behind the counter learned we were first timers. After a few recommendations, we ended up with a coffee, lemonade, croissant, crepe and chocolate chip cookie. Yes, it was a sweet visit.“
“Probably the most accurate representation of Chilean food in Utah. I ordered the churrasco and while Holy Cow churrascos are bigger, this one matches it for taste and beats it for price. If you have any ties to Chile, Noemi’s will fulfill your expectations for sure.En fin. Que viva chile, que viva Gary Medel.“
