“It was New Year's Eve. Everything was great. The only thing was something was being cooked. That started everybody coughing and their eyes watering. It didn't last more than 5 minutes, but it was very irritating. We almost had to step out”

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.”

“I have a hard time finding clean ingredient places I can eat due to my Ulcertive Colitis. This place is AWESOME! Good food, clean food, REAL food and it's delicious!! Also, it has a fantastic environment, I love the vibe. Live green plants everywhere, good music, its was chill and comfortable. Also my kids are all picky eaters and they all found something here that they were happy with and ate all of. They even have reverse osmosis water in their drinking fountains! And their store is great as well! I 100% recommended this place and It will now be my go to eat out place.”

He went above and beyond to help my son learn how to eat crab for the first time - patiently showing him how to crack it and making the moment feel fun and special. “Food was so good it brought tears to my eyes. Got the Pesto Branzino(seasonal) and it was so fresh and well balanced. The Chicken Brian is insane as well. Strongly recommend either dish. Only thing that could be improved is the ambiance, feels more sterile than a Chili’s. I just wish the dining room was as good as the food.”

“Took my family here and was not disappointed. The kids liked the food even though it was less sweet than Panda. The pics I posted are from when my husband and I came back for Lunch. He had orange chicken and I had Chicken Massaman Curry. It was very good and the presentation was phenomenal. I wish I had pictures of our dinner to post as well. The one downside is that the servers are stretched thin. I think this is to slow the flow of orders but it's hard for the servers to manage. They still do a good job. The food is freshly made so it takes a long time... especially the sushi. So go when you're starting to get hungry, not when you are hungry or you'll be starving and kids will be grumpy.”

Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. “So i came here after work with my wife and kid I ordered a Chipotle cheese steak and she ordered the original cheese steak. When I got my order my wife's was fine. Mine was made with the wrong meat. Got chicken instead of beef. Not usually a big deal but I was wanting steak today. I let the lady at the front counter know the mistake and she immediately fixed the issue with no problems she was super nice and helpful. Thank you Paris for helping me with that and I do believe she needs a raise”

“Our Special Needs class came here today for our field trip The kids meals are so big and perfectly fed our kids. Then the owners brought us out ice cream (with Oreo sprinkles) for the kids and shakes for the adults 😋. The kids were so excited for the unexpected Treat that they started clapping 👏. Will, the owner, came out and talked to the kids and got to know them better. The employees were so kind and took extra time with our kids,even though they were busy! My only criticism is that it is so busy you have to track down a server to get your drink or refills or even to get chopsticks. Nevertheless, it is my favorite buffet, even when on a low carb or keto diet.”

“I've tried pretty much all Boba Tea places in Utah County and Tea Mate in my humble opinion, is my favorite! The flavors are just more rich and flavorful. It's pretty small and there's only about 5 tables. They do have outside tables in the warmer months. And even when it's incredibly busy, they are very quick to serve our drink orders! My favorite is Taro milk tea! And i love that they can do 0, 25, 50, 75, or 100% sugar. I recommend getting 50% because it is very rich and sugary.”

“This "Savory Thai" is one of very few true "Bangkok Thai Cuisine" restaurant in Utah county. Unlike many of the Thai restaurants that are "learned from mom's kitchen", the owner/chef of this Savory Thai went through "Royal" culinary professional training in Thailand. This restaurant only uses fresh ingredients and prepares every dish by/to the order (there were no pre-cooked/scope ups) which means it may take a bit longer time during busy/rush time. However, the quality of the dishes are surly worth it should you have to wait a bit. if you really want to try and enjoy the true and real "Bangkok Thai cuisine" (there are few different styles food in Thailand) this is the only place for you!! And they serve many delicious Thai deserts, including some crepes, are scrumptious too.”

They gave me high-5's and I got a hug from our waitress. The food was fresh, my steak was great, there was a wonderful assortment, the restaurant was very clean, and we had excellent service. “Memo's bakery pan dulce is great! I wouldn't buy pan dulce anywhere else. However... I recently bought a tres leches cake here and it was meh. It was not moist evenly, some parts were dry. There's one other place that makes better tres leches cake (I will not mention where), and they write happy birthday on it with actual ingredients on the spot, instead of just putting a happy birthday sign. If Memo's is going to charge 40+ dollars for an average size cake, and wants to compete, they need to step it up. Pan dulce though, hands down the best here.”

Addie at the Orem location helped my family and she was the sweetest, most attentive young lady! It was a difficult experience for me, with three small children who were all over due for a nap and I too was not in the greatest mood, but Addie was so great, incredibly patient, very knowledgeable about the drinks/ingredients I had questions about and she was so great with my children, totally turned their frowns into laughter with out missing a beat! “We’ve visited quite a few coffee shops in Salt Lake City and on our way to Provo, and this is the first place where we finally found truly well-made, authentic coffee.
We ordered a cappuccino and a cortado, and both were made perfectly. The barista clearly knows what he’s doing — he understands proper espresso extraction and how to steam milk correctly for a cappuccino. The cappuccino was served in the proper 6 oz cup, and the cortado in a 4 oz glass — exactly as they should be.
The service was very friendly and professional.
It’s also a great spot to sit down, enjoy your coffee, and meet friends. There are board games on the tables, which adds to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Wonderful place. I would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby.”

“Never going to another antojitos place again! It's a hidden gem. Portions are generous and everything we got ( pepino picosito, tostiesquites, and mango and cream shaved ice) tasted great! The corn for the tostiesquites was really good and fresh and overall, made it right. I've gone to a lot of local places where they're skimpy on all their ingredients for the tostiesquites but this one did not. The mango and cream is made with fresh mangoes and tasted amazing. Everything menu item is genuinely thought through and meticulously made to give you way more than the generic Mexican food restaurant where you go and spend $1 on a street taco. I eat at flemmings and Ruth’s Chris at least once a month and I can honestly say comparing price/quality/flavor/presentation to those two, motel west comes out on top.
