Some of the best Uni directly from Hokkaido Japan and a improvised omakaze dégustation from sushi chef Kyle Nelson. There is a lot to love in this hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant! We are so glad we chose Yama Sushi at Montage Deer Valley. The quality of the fish was excellent and our party of four enjoyed everything we ordered. The sushi nachos are a must try appetizer too!

11/10. Best sushi I've ever had. Every little detail about it: the quality of the fish, the preparation, the intricately prepared wasabi, MOST AMAZING TASTE!! And the service was spectacular. I sat at the bar and I really enjoyed talking with the servers and chefs, and the level of SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE. Very nice setting with lounge area and mountain views. OUTSTANDING meal.
