“Great food. Very clean. Had a nice spread. There was something for everyone in our group of 20. Friendly staff.Vegetarian options: There is tofu for the Mongolian grill. Great salad bar.Kid-friendliness: French fries and chicken nuggets. Jello. Rolls. Ice cream.“
“Wow it's been awhile but very impressed with the food and service family day to me its the best day of the week they serve ham turkey baked chicken fried shrimp all the trimmings of a traditional family dinner with dessert way to go chuck great job!“
“I love to eat here. Always a treat.Pros: Love the fried or baked chicken. Mashed potatoes and gravy are as good as homemade. Soft potatoes with a few nice lumps. The chicken or beef gravy is way better than it used to be. Salad bar is nice. Good fries and shrimp. Spouse loves the turkey soup and pickled veggies. Nice, warm macadamia cookies.Cons: The rolls used to be my favorite, but they're always cold now and sit out for a long time. They used to serve Farr's ice cream in the soft serve before the pandemic, but not anymore.I like the vanilla cappuccino with a dollop of vanilla ice cream at the end of my meal.“
“The King Buffet on Redwood Road, I do try to make it a weekly family night out and sometimes will go to their other location on State Street. But it's wonderful to see people coming in to enjoy Chinese food where there's a lot of foot traffic and it's great to see that so the chef can constantly cook fresh food when they are out of certain dishes. Other Chinese Buffet, their dishes be sitting too long and stale and you'll have a bad dinning experience. I decided not to post pics on what dishes they have as it's what they usually serve at every Chinese restaurants but do take a look at other peoples review. There are two thing I do notice between the 2 location is the Redwood location will have the stir fried calamari while the State Street don't have calamari and second, the State Street location has slice yellow onions at the Mongolian stir fried while the Redwood location doesn't which don't make sense but maybe people like calamari on the Redwood location so they serve it there. What makes King Buffet stand out, is the price and selection of dishes as you getting the best bang for ya buck with inflation being as bad but for $16.95 for each adults, its well worth its price for admission. Please keep in mind, I do notice a "2 hour limit" to eat posted sign on their menu board but I didnt have a feeling the place would kick you out for over staying more than 2 hours eating or/and even socializing as it would make their customer uncomfortable and put them in an awkward spot not to lose customers that be their regulars or even have a bad rep and eventually bad business to scare away future customers that want to enjoy the dinning experience . Hopefully, in the future, they can remodel the interior of the restaurant in the future to keep the place looking fresh as time will tell before it gets dull and old. The booth seat cushion is getting worn out and showing its age at some point I do notice and their table can bit slippery(your food plate can move like a puck if your not careful when trying to eat your food). Don't let their negative flaw discourage you from coming over here as their staffing/server was top notch checking on us consistently and taking our empty plates when we are done eating and refilling our drinks if needed. Did i mention there's no chocolate fountain or ice cream machine(State Street location has it). You could easily spend over $40 or more for a couple of Chinese food dishes at a regular Chinese restaurant that's not all-you-can-eat and still be hungry, so I do RECOMMEND you give it a try and I shall be back!Parking: Definitely plenty of parking!Kid-friendliness: Yes, there be kids and have kids dishes as well to desert to their liking.“
“Live their food and the experience. Dislike the kids running around with nobody watching them and putting their hands all over the food and putting food they had touched back. I know it's not the Holden corrals fault for that but someone needs to enforce a no kids by themselves ruleWheelchair accessibility: Idk what to say here? Park. Get out and wheel on in?“
“Surprisingly excellent food and variety for a very reasonable price. I enjoyed the seafood, prime rib, Mongolian BBQ, and variety of veggies. The meatloaf was tasty I don't eat sushi, but there is a large sushi bar. I also don't eat desserts, but there was hard as well as soft serve ice cream, a chocolate fountain, cotton candy and a variety of other things. I would definitely visit this again if I was in the area!“
“This is a definite, come as you are, kind of place. You see big families laughing and joking, you can totally be yourself. My daughter and I had been down by the creek all day and we had some mud on our clothes, lol, and yet we fit right in at the King Buffet! The food is fantastic! It's exactly what you want when you go to a Chinese buffet! They have a little bit of everything, a little bit of American, lots of Chinese food, and it's all hot, fresh, and tasty!“
“Food was ok, nothing extraordinary. My two favorite things were the French fries (really crispy) with fry sauce, and the rice pudding. Our waitress was really attentive and polite. The lady that helped me at the meat slicing area asked me to go around the other side of the area and then when I put my plate close to the meat she rudely pushed my plate away from the meat with her fork then told me to not get the plate close to it. I'd suggest that the lady is trained to ask people to position their plates away from the meat first, just like she did when asking me to go to the other side of the area.“
