Casot is a charming neighborhood wine bar with a cozy, living room-like ambiance. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about their extensive wine list. While the food menu is not extensive, it is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine before or after dinner at a nearby restaurant. The by-the-glass options are limited, but the selections are usually delicious. The bar may not be suited for a "drink all night" experience, but it is perfect for a "have a glass and chat" occasion. However, there was an issue when a customer requested a specific cocktail, the Bee's Knees, and was instead served an unwanted glass of wine.
