“Awesome experience Veronica our server was very helpful and served with a smile. The food was served warm and was delicious. The stuffed French toast was a hit. I recommend this location as our server Veronica went out of her way for us to have a great experience. Kudos to the kitchen and the hostess as well everyone made us feel welcome!- visiting from Phoenix“
“A friend and I were seated within 20 minutes on St. Patrick’s Day around 12pm. We typically wait an hour for brunch on a normal Sunday in SLC, so to get that kind of luck on a holiday was unreal!! The service in general was just lovely. Food portions are surprisingly large and everything had so much flavor. We order mimosas and the spiced vodka mule drink and loved every minute ??Parking: The lot is behind the restaurant, off the street, but there are only about 20 spots so you just kind of wait it out until someone leaves and you can take there spot. Otherwise you’d probably have to park down the block.“
“This location is located on the side of a busy side street on the edge of a big building. Parking is available on the side of the street. The cafe is pretty small, but there are many little tables and booths to fit quite a bit of people. It has that classic diner vibe because the tables and the inside are pretty old.I ordered The Big Breakfast. Normally when I go to breakfast or brunch, I choose lunch items over breakfast items on the menu, however, just for Penny Ann's I chose the classic breakfast. Their HEAVENLY HOT CAKES are the only kind of pancakes I actually enjoy and love! Something about their recipe is actually so good! I opted for their hot cakes over my usual breakfast burrito. Their hot cakes are light, airy, and buttery! The service was quick and accurate even though it was busy! The waitresses seemed very experienced and just two waitresses kept the whole place running with no complaints the day I came in. If you're not a giant breakfast fan, I would suggest trying Penny Ann's Heavenly Hot Cakes because even I (not a breakfast foods fan) enjoyed them and would come back to get more if I am ever craving breakfast foods!“
“We used to hit virg's way back in the late 80s for the epic fish and chips. Was a small 2 table place with 1 guy behind the counter making his city famous fish and chips. Fast forward we thought we would see how this small shop is doing, and wad presently surprised. Nice and busy cafe, find your own table. Service was very quick, and with top notch attitude. Atmosphere wad pleasant, and good came quick to our surprise how busy they were. We were a little disappointed on the slightly burned toast bacon and the eggs not quite over medium. But that did not hamper our experience. We will be going back and trying again, may of just been a 1 off day, but we quite enjoyed our outing, even though it's been 40 years since our last visit.“
“We've been to Ruth's a number of times and it is always a great experience. The food is always good, the servers are always nice and the atmosphere is really fun, unique and enjoyable. Service is fast, just be patient if it is busy as, like with any busy restaurant, the wait may be slightly longer, but they always do their best and our food has always been hot.A few things to note: it is almost always busy. Be prepared to wait a bit to get seated unless you come during the few down times. Our last visit was at 2pm on a Saturday and we were seated right away, even with 7 people in our party. Also, the outdoor seating relies on trees for shade, so keep that in mind when you go in the spring if it is a warm and sunny day.“
