The potions were large. My take-home was enough for 2 more meals. The gumbo was a suprise. I expected more broth although there was planty of chickena and sausage bits. A suggestion for the chef: add FRESH cut banana slices when the banana pudding is served. Noone wants to eat black lumps of discolored banana. Otherwise, the reatuarant is worth trying and offers many traditional Southern foods.
We walked in and you could tell the staff had just been through a huge rush and a busy day. The host warned us before seating. Everyone was friendly and service was a bit slow, but we knew that ahead of time. Great food and staff was professional. I realized after they closed that I left my credit card there. They were kind enough to answer the phone after hours and I was able to stop by and pick it up. Tough day for you guys, but you came through for me and that's huge....read full review

I have wanted to visit Homecoming Southern Kitchen for awhile but the reviews weren't the best.
