But my husband's rose pasta was just so-so -- both of us thought it was a bit disappointing, especially as the waiter said it was their specialty, but it really wasnt that good, and we didn't even felt the need to finish it. Everything else was spectacular thought, including the atmosphere and service. We'll definitely return if we're in the area again, but just avoid the rose pasta.“

“Stopped in for Sunday breakfast with the family and Bartolo’s completely blew us away.

The food here is incredibly fresh and very tasty. Every dish that hit the table had excellent presentation—visually stunning and artfully plated. If you're looking for a recommendation, the steak and eggs is highly recommended. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, tender, and incredibly flavorful.

Beyond the kitchen, the service was friendly, warm, and attentive throughout our entire meal. Our overall experience for Sunday breakfast was very good, and it’s easily a new family favorite.

We will for sure be back for dinner to try out their evening menu and dive into their pasta! Highly recommend checking this place out.“

“This is the best Italian restaurant in AMERICA! My husband and I visited Salt Lake City 2 weeks ago on vacation and walked into this place without planning ahead and we were really surprised when we saw such a beautiful interior, and the food surprised us even more! We tried the panini, the pasta with vodka sauce, and the whipped brie (it was so delicious that we wanted to move to this city just to eat this magnificence EVERY DAY!). The manager told us about the person who opened this place and how they bring ingredients directly from Italy. Guys, thank you for what you do, you are so cool and talented, I want to come to your restaurant every day but I live in California 😭

“Carlucci’s Bakery is a hidden gem in Salt Lake City. The bakery has a cozy atmosphere and an incredible selection of fresh pastries and desserts. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and buttery, while the Florentine cookie was crisp, nutty, and perfectly dipped in dark chocolate. A great local bakery that’s well worth the stop.“

“I grew up a stone's throw from the Italian border and haven't been back in 8 years. Eating here made me emotional because this is the closest I've been to home in all that time. Their food is delicious and comforting and speaks to the passion and dedication of the staff. The cost is affordable especially in comparison to similar restaurants in the area who don't have half the quality. Galeano's location is spacious and airy, with a wall of windows, high ceilings, and the clean and clear open concept floor plan.“

“Really good, simple Italian food; something that is hard to come by in SLC.

The neopolitan pizza was delicious - not just by Utah standards. The dough was soft and chewy and slightly charred, the sauce was slightly sweet and tangy, and the cheese tasted super fresh. It was topped with cloves of roasted garlic, fresh basil, and parmesan, all of which came together very well.

Service was also friendly and the restaurant was decorated well.“

“Piastra On Gallivan Plaza feels like a relaxed little Italian spot right in the middle of downtown. I liked sitting near the plaza and watching the city move while the food came out fresh and comforting. The pasta was simple but satisfying, and the whole place had an easygoing vibe. “ad a really good date night at Junah this past Saturday (6/20/26). It's Italian-Japanese fusion, which seems like an unusual pairing to me, but I feel it worked very well.

Standouts were the miso cod, Aurora crudo, tagliolino al mentaiko, and matcha tiramisu. The cod was the overall winner. My wife said it was one of the best things she's ever eaten, which is high praise from her.

Overall, I thought it was one of the more interesting upscale meals I've had in Salt Lake recently. The vibe was not stuffy at all, and we had a great time and incredible service.

Low light was the inability to seat us for our reservation on time despite a text confirming our table was ready. I hope they can get that figured out!“

“We came here for our 11-yr anniversary. For our 10-yr anniversary we did a pizza crawl in Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and New Haven Connecticut. So this year we did a much smaller version to check out pizza more local to us. Compared to the pizzas we tried in NYC, it was pretty good! The slices are huge. I got a pepperoni slice and my husband got a cheese slice and a bacon/green olive slice.
I thought it was pretty great overall, but my husband wished the crust was more crispy, though he liked the sauce.
The staff was friendly, but the music they were playing was pretty awful and the bathroom was gross. Overall great pizza and we’d come again.“
