“What a cool Italian place here in SLC. It was my first time and in the mid-afternoon. The service was exceptional (sampling with descriptions and even met the nonna!) and the pesto is excellent. Northern Dolomiti heritage. Going back for more pesto and local-made sausage!“
“1. Ignacio (waiter) is the best waiter I’ve ever had his kindness and patience made our experience perfect. He was on top of everything ( Always made sure we had our drinks & always made sure to ask us if he could do anything for us) 2. The food was made to order and really fresh. For starters the pizza is AMAZING. Also, both of the pastas we tried were mouthwatering and delightful. This is the best Italian Food I’ve ever had and I will always make sure to stop by whenever I am in Salt Lake City. ? ❤️“
“We are from Pocatello and we came to SL for a fun hangout day, decided we wanted to get some good Italian food came here and it is the best food and restaurant we have ever had! Hands down will definitely come here again! Our waiter was amazing too he was very nice! A great place to eat! Thank you Per Noi Trattoria Family!“
“Overpriced phily sandwiches, the amount of meat and cheese is minimum. The large sandwich is expensive about $13 without soda or fries, and it should barely cost 5 dollars. Low quality ingredients, average taste makes the perfect combination to waste your money and never come back. Everything wrong with Moochie's, this guys that will rip you off! avoid them, I have warned you.“
“This place is so good. This is the second time we’ve picked up pasta here and, so far, our favorite sauces are the simple San Marzano and San Marzano with veggies. The latter has more of that onion flavor you might be used to in sauces if you don’t usually get simple red sauces. The pasta is fresh and has a great bite. It’s not watery, overcooked, or bland. A lot comes in a regular size so you’ll be filled. Both flavors of panna cotta are wonderful. The chocolate is rich and the mixed berry is my personal favorite.I really appreciate that there’s a place with great fresh pasta that’s so accessible.“
“Amazing place! We’re visiting from out of town and to be honest, are used to very high end food and drink options and have struggled to find that here in Utah. This place saved us from thinking all food here is mid. I had the BEST lasagne of my life here and that’s sure saying something. Absolutely go here, great atmosphere, service and drinks as well.“
“Food was decent. Tried their Pesto Gnocchi with Spicy Sausage (daily special so not on the menu). Gnocchi was a bit bland and too soft but the spicy sausage was on point. Also, chili flakes took care of the blandness though I would have preferred a stronger pesto taste. The bread was good - fresh out of the oven and warm. Also ordered a Cortado - the coffee was a darker roast so bitter but not bad.Service was good and the restaurant itself is in a historic building so has charm.Overall, worth a visit.“
“The staff is extremely attentive, the food is over the top. The portion sizes are perfect. This truly is a dining experience. Not to mention the wine is incredible. We shared a bottle of the Ripasso and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about anything, parking is limited and the building is underwhelming considering the quality of the rest of the experience. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. And they follow the European tradition of no tipping allowed. If you haven't had the opportunity to give this place a shot it should definitely be on your list.“
“My wife and I have been excited to try this place! The environment and decor is great. The service was awesome. The food was really good. We would definitely come back. We went right after it opened and they didn't have their liquor license yet which they said they should have soon. We got the smoked trout dip (4/5) the chips were especially good. The risotto (1.5/5) was our least favorite. It was a little crunchy and the green apples in it didn't really compliment the dish. The braised beef and hummus was INCREDIBLE (6/5). So so tasty and tender. The pomegranate molasses was such a nice touch and the flat bread was awesome. Speaking of which the bread they bring out at the beginning also INCREDIBLE (6/5). We also got the smoked pastrami and charred cabbage (4/5). It was a yummy dish. I don't think I'd get it again. Surprisingly the charred cabbage was the star of the show, not the pastrami but it was still an enjoyable dish to try. We will definitely be back to Roux!“
“Only one problem. The food was outstanding, the service was outstanding, our waiter (Arty) was outstanding, the ambience was outstanding, and there was only one issue. Parking was perfect for valet drop off at the front but after dinner, when we were returning to our car, the valet indicated we should walk straight across the pathway transitioning the island, which meant stepping into a large reservoir of water about 2 feet across. There was snow and ice everywhere else and that transition was not feasible. Therefore, as a couple of 80 year-old customers, we had to walk all the way around the island in the snow and the slippery ice with no help or guidance from the valet. One slip in those conditions would have been a disaster. Why could the valet not have just simply moved the car up to the door for our exit? Or, why could you not have a small bridge across the deep water that blocked our transition across the island? Other than that, our experience was outstanding, and we are looking forward to considering having another dinner at Tuscany in the future.“
“Hostesses were very speedy and friendly, my waiter Jacob was incredibly informative, kind, and had great recommendations, and the pizza was great. The crust was flavorful, and totally different on the two pies that I ordered, the toppings were thoughtfully coordinated, and all of the ingredients tasted of a premium quality and freshness.Parking: Get there early, as the lot fills quickly.“
“Aside from going 80 in the slow lane Carlucci's is the only thing I miss about Utah. Their coffee is excellent, I haven't had a baked good there I didn't love. Though I have to call out their Decadences (rich chocolate torts) and fruit tarts are especially good. I am addicted to their amazing pasta salad, and baked Italian tofu sandwiches. But their other lunch and breakfast items are also amazing. Seriously go there and enjoy.“
“This is a spacious restaurant - seating is comfy and you're not rubbing elbows in the literal sense with other diners. The menu here is very good - I'm a vegetarian, so this checks the boxes for me. But there is something for everyone - and portions are quite large - so bring a healthy appetite when you visit. I'm a regular customer here. The staff is wonderful and eager to please. Enjoy!“
“DELICIOUS!I thought this was gonna be a fine dining service, but it was not, it is more casual but relaxed, I liked it, fine dishes in a casual atmosphere. We came for lunch and asked for the Heirloom Caprese as appetizer, so good. Then I asked for Parpadelle al Tartufo: Wonderful! So tasty, creamy, loved the pasta and the flavor in general along with mushrooms. Also the Truffle pizza was so astounding!! I would say the pizza is one of the best I’ve tried in Salt lake city. Our server was great and attentive, forgot to ask his name to give a shout out. The place has an urban style, cool! I am definitely coming back!“
“Seasons never disappoints! their quality is top tier and the flavors and freshness are unmatched im so thankful that out of all the fast food type vegan restaurants and repetitive same old nasty dishes like tiger wings, impossible burgers etc. I have the privilege to have an amazing place like seasons in my city thank you seasons!“
“Loved the experience at Bartolo's! Excellent service! The server had great recommendations, and was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was excellent, and delivered with great timing. The foccaccia appetizer was delicious. We had the house salad, and a side caeser salad with no chicken. Both salads were very light on dressing, which was great. The main dinner was a Lamb Campanelle and a Pistachio Pesto Campanelle with added shrimp. Both were excellent. We especially loved the fresh pasta. I was impressed with how much lamb was in the dish. Bartolo's is a definite place to go again!“
“The food was fresh and authentically Italian. Particularly the bread with garlic oil. The gnocchi was okay but over salted and the sauce very rich, I felt it was overpriced for something I could easily make at home. The service was okay but I had to wait 20 min for a table despite making a reservation. Overall the experience was positive but overpriced.“
“Maxwell's Little Bar is a fantastic neighborhood spot for delicious food and drinks! I moved into the building housing this pub and love it!The staff are so welcoming and friendly plus getting to meet my new neighbors in a relaxing open space has been great. It's definitely worth checking out!“
“If you like Italian food then you have to visit this restaurant in SLC! We went there twice during our 4 day stay. The service was great and so was the food! For appetizers I recommend the whipped Brie and carpaccio. The bread service was also so yummy! As for the entrees we got the risotto, brasato braised beef, truffle pasta which were 10/10. The filet Mingon was also tasty but could use a little bit less salt. Ravioli al Funghi is vegan and also tasted very fresh. As for dessert I would recommend the tiramisu! Honestly everything was flavorful 10/10 recommend.“
