“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“This place was simply heavenly. I’ve never had better pasta in the states other than in Italy. The fusion of flavors was just so incredibly innovative and original. “We came here for a Valentine’s date. Our meal was pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. This was probably one of my favorite meals I’ve had in Salt Lake City. “We stopped by this ramen place after visiting the zoo at night..it was freezing cold, and this was the only “noodles” place open late, so we decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good, but it’s definitely on the pricey side. Ramen in Utah is a bit overpriced in general.

The noodles didn’t taste like traditional ramen, more like homemade noodles, but they were still tasty. We also ordered the chili pork dumplings, which weren’t quite what I expected (I thought they’d be similar to the ones from DTF), but they were okay.

Overall, it was a nice warm meal on a cold night, just wish the prices were a little more reasonable!“

“I love almost everything here, and always go out of my way if I'm near one or see th we food truck! the one thing I did just have that was downright bizzar, and borderline gross was the Raspberry chicken. I'm curious if there is anyone thats gotten it more than once. I just sort of speed ate the chicken so I didn't waste the money, but couldn't handle the rice with that actual salad dressing, super sweet and tart sauce. then it also has blue cheese on it which is very strange, lol.“

“Great sushi spot in a really cool area! The location is bigger than the one in the Sugarhouse shopping center and sits right near the heart of the 9th & 9th area by Liberty Heights. The space feels open and welcoming, the service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. Definitely a great place to grab sushi while enjoying one of the best neighborhoods in the city.“

“We arrived roughly at 9:30pm prior to the cover and had a great time winding down our evening at Sayonara. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and responsive. Quick to take your order and had bar staff coming to your table with drink service.

Of the course the vibes are some of the best in downtown SLC. We particularly enjoyed the bar back and pool room.“
