“Summer Tsukemen. Normal ramen comes with chashu pork, but this one has roast beef. So delicious. The noodles are served in a light broth, so it might be a good idea to dilute the dipping sauce with it at the end. The portion is smaller than I expected, but it’s healthy and good.“

The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. “Wandering the city, Takashi was my destination. I had seen this restaurant as I googled the area. Let me tell you, it was not easy to find. I walked past it twice! I trusted Google maps amd walked in a door, only to realize Google was right! Once I entered, it was like walking into a different world. The quietness of the street gave way to a bustling restaurant! I chose to sit at the sushi bar, my first time. Ceasar explained to me how to order, and made my loan dining less awkward (my first time lone dining in decades). I ordered the spicy edemami and the forest gump roll. Both were good. The sushi was very fresh, and watching the team of chefs making rolls was very enlightening! 10/10 recommend.“

“ad a really good date night at Junah this past Saturday (6/20/26). It's Italian-Japanese fusion, which seems like an unusual pairing to me, but I feel it worked very well.

Standouts were the miso cod, Aurora crudo, tagliolino al mentaiko, and matcha tiramisu. The cod was the overall winner. My wife said it was one of the best things she's ever eaten, which is high praise from her.

Overall, I thought it was one of the more interesting upscale meals I've had in Salt Lake recently. The vibe was not stuffy at all, and we had a great time and incredible service.

Low light was the inability to seat us for our reservation on time despite a text confirming our table was ready. I hope they can get that figured out!“

“I made my way to Ramen Legend and took up with their “Killer Veggie Ramen,” a title that threatens mischief but delivers honest comfort. The broth carried a lively kimchi heat—enough to wake a man without causing regret—and with a touch of black sesame oil, it improved itself further.

The noodles behaved properly, the vegetables were in good order, and the whole bowl suggested care rather than haste. A most satisfying vegetarian affair, and one I would gladly repeat.“

There are better sushi joints in town and the servers are a little snotty. Not as bad as the clientele who seem pretentious and obnoxious and make you want to get take out only, which you can.
