“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“We came here for a Valentine’s date. Our meal was pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. This was probably one of my favorite meals I’ve had in Salt Lake City. “I made my way to Ramen Legend and took up with their “Killer Veggie Ramen,” a title that threatens mischief but delivers honest comfort. The broth carried a lively kimchi heat—enough to wake a man without causing regret—and with a touch of black sesame oil, it improved itself further.

The noodles behaved properly, the vegetables were in good order, and the whole bowl suggested care rather than haste. A most satisfying vegetarian affair, and one I would gladly repeat.“

“I love almost everything here, and always go out of my way if I'm near one or see th we food truck! the one thing I did just have that was downright bizzar, and borderline gross was the Raspberry chicken. I'm curious if there is anyone thats gotten it more than once. I just sort of speed ate the chicken so I didn't waste the money, but couldn't handle the rice with that actual salad dressing, super sweet and tart sauce. then it also has blue cheese on it which is very strange, lol.“

“Their sushi was good then tempura was meh. Everything was either really good or not very so I think you figure out what works well and just order that. There are better sushi joints in town and the servers are a little snotty. Not as bad as the clientele who seem pretentious and obnoxious and make you want to get take out only, which you can. And I'd recommend doing that.“

“We arrived roughly at 9:30pm prior to the cover and had a great time winding down our evening at Sayonara. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and responsive. Quick to take your order and had bar staff coming to your table with drink service.

Of the course the vibes are some of the best in downtown SLC. We particularly enjoyed the bar back and pool room.“
