La Fountain Mexican Restaurant in Tooele offers a delightful dining experience, according to the reviews. The food is described as "so good" and "delicious," with favorites like the tamales, which are praised for their moist and flavorful masa and generous fillings. The smothered burritos, particularly the one with chile verde that adds a nice kick of heat, and the cheese enchiladas are also customer favorites. The rice served alongside is always fluffy and tasty.
The waiters are friendly, and the service is described as "amazing" and "great," with servers being patient and attentive. The restaurant is clean, the music isn’t too loud, and the portions are plenty—some enough to share. However, some reviewers note that the prices are on the higher side, with desserts being "extremely overpriced." The cost of a meal for a family of four can be a "gasp" moment, yet many find the amount of food served to be generous for the price.
While most dishes are flavorful, some mention that the food can be lacking in taste or served barely warm, though issues are quickly fixed. Some customers have noted that the meat can be well-seasoned but a little dry. Despite these minor critiques, La Fountain remains a "bright spot" in the Tooele County dining scene, with many recommending it for its authentic Mexican food and great value for the amount served.
