“I went to The Break when I was in town to see several hockey games recently. We stayed at a hotel within walking distance of The Maverik Center and The Break, and went to The Break after a game for appetizers and drinks. First off, the food and drinks we got were absolutely fantastic. They were a great price for the quality. Second, the atmosphere was wonderful. Folks were there watching the Bears vs Rams wild card game, and everyone was cheering together. After the game, it was easy to tell there was a solid group of regulars, and several people stopped to talk to us because we were in Kansas City sports gear. But most important was my experience after leaving Salt Lake City. I accidentally left an item at the table when I left, and didn’t realize it until I got home to Kansas City the next day. I called The Break, and not only had staff saved it in the lost and found, they were willing to ship it back to me! While it wasn’t a particularly expensive item, it did have sentimental value so I’m excited it wasn’t lost forever. If I’m ever back in Salt Lake City, I’ll absolutely visit The Break again.”

We stopped here late in the evening after an incredibly long drive while making our way to our new home. We were exhausted and hungry and honestly just ready to get back on the road. From the moment we walked in, these two were so sweet, welcoming, and genuine.

What really touched us was that they took the time to write us a HANDWRITTEN note wishing us luck on our new journey. 🥹❤ It was such a simple gesture, but after such a long day, it meant so much to us. We will absolutely remember their kindness.

People like these two are what make a simple stop along the way so special. They deserve a raise, some serious recognition, and everyone should be leaving them BIG tips!! They were truly some of the sweetest and most inviting people we have met along the way.

“I arrived at least 10 minutes earlier than the estimated ready time and the pizza's were ready to go. The Chicken Artichoke Bacon (CAB) has become a fav for us all. Even the kids like it over the pepperoni specials. We like that it is fresh and easy to cook.”

“Best tacos I've ever had at this price point and quality and I've had tacos all over LA. The tortillas taste fresh and have a strong corn flavor and they are soft which I think adds so much to the taco. The meats are delicious. I usually get the Cabeza taco, which is meat from the head, traditionally made with beef cheeks and beef lips. Some people just use beef cheeks. The meat is so soft it almost melts in your mouth. The Al Pastor is heavily spiced and perfect. The Carne Asada is of good quality and tastes very beefy and fresh.

They give you a cooked chili and cooked onions with the order which I like. The cooked onions add a nice sweetness to balance out the spices. I also put raw onion and cilantro. They have two green sauces which I don't think are spicy at all, but the red sauce is spicy so I put that and the creamy green sauce because it has so much good flavor. Also, a little salt and lime makes them even better. The tacos are also seriously cheap and they pack them full of meat. I am addicted to their tacos. I'll eat three and then start thinking about how good those tacos were and I want more.

I see a bad review it looks like the person doesn't know what they are talking about saying the meat wasn't fresh and the vegetables were spoiled lol. I go here every week and the tacos and salsas are always amazing. He also said the tacos cost a lot LOL. 2.75 a taco, so that person is not telling the truth. For sure give them a try. The tacos are addicting and they are cheap. Cheapest I've seen in Utah.”

“I’m writing this review to give major praise to the gentleman working yesterday. When I pulled up to the window, I could see he looked a bit frazzled. He sincerely apologized for the wait and explained that he was the only one working at the moment. Funny enough, I was the only car in line and barely waited at all.
The interaction was quick, and I’ll admit, I was a little nervous about how my drink would turn out since he seemed rushed. But the moment I took my first sip, I was reminded exactly why I always choose this location. It was hands-down the best Zippy Zen I’ve ever had. “First time coming to America and I heard that Wetzels was a very popular pretzel place to visit. Absolutely delicious items, especially the jalaroni and pizza bits. Leandro was such a wonderful employee, everything was perfect and he was such a delight, recommending me items that were absolutely delicious. I came in 11ish in the morning and he was running the place confidently and swiftly by himself. He was very professional and tending to myself and other customers with full attention.”

Good morning peeps. A quick update for this store: I like breakfast sandwiches, but I don’t handle cheese very well anymore. I can bring in an outside sandwich and the staff has never said anything to me about doing so. This makes this store just a little bit more enjoyable to relax in. 😊”

“I will make the 15-20 minute drive, to this particular location because of their five star service, across the bar. I live literally down the street, from another little ceasars pizza, with a drive thru. But, would rather make the drive to this location because they know how to make pizza. Especially my children’s favorite, which is the classic cheese. The dough is the perfect thickness and cooked properly. The perfect amount of marinara sauce and cheese, that is actually edible. The customer service is world class. The workers actually look like they showered and brushed their teeth. They even bag the crazy bread and marinara sauce for you. My local location, never thinks to bag them because it’s hard not to have them sliding everywhere— as they hand it to you, through the drive thru. Even when we ask if they can bag it, they hand us the bag, where we end up bagging it ourselves.

“I came when it was slow, yet they were out of an item that I wanted. I substituted something else. The food was good. I went to get ice cream and was told that, too, was out. I find it funny that I was still charged the full price for the meal but was not allowed to have the full dinner.”
