Everyone go just for the Naan! We also tried the Papadam and the Gulab Jamun and would reorder both in a heart beat. I will be singing praises for this place for the next forever.”

“I will start by saying we love The Break, the food is amazing, top notch, and we go before every hockey game. I think management needs to know tonight they missed the mark in regards to service by a lot. I arrived at 5:40, by 6:00 I was in search to find out who our server was as no one had stopped by the table. 30+ minutes after my arrival at 6:15 she arrived. I ordered our drinks AND meals but before I did, I asked how long she expected the food to arrive since we were going to the game. Side note tonight was not half as busy as other nights we have been here. She said that the food would be out in 20 minutes so we decided to stay. 6:40, an hour after arrival and our drinks are finally served. At 7:00 my husbands meal is served, 45 minutes after the order was placed. At 7:10 we had to find someone to ask about mine because by that time he is half done eating his meal and I still don’t have mine. Needless to say I was pretty upset as we had now missed the entire first period of the hockey game by the time we left.”

The Kabul Kitchen in Salt Lake City is just as good if not better than pretty much anything I ate in Afghanistan. Fantastic place. Just know that Afghan food is distinctly different from Pakistani and Indian even if some of the names are the same. Afghan food is unique.”

“They must have changed something recently because everything on the pizza was excellent (I could be wrong and just imagined it’s different). Large stuffed crust that was half Hawaiian, half Papas Favorite, and a medium garlic chicken. Stuffed cheese tasted like actual cheese and not the overly sweet garbage the red hat place does. The pizza crust was perfect, last year it was really weird tasting and we stopped ordering from here because of it, but I am glad we gave it another try today. These are all classic indicators that the pho is going to be excellent and in this case it holds true. I've had tons of pho and so far in Utah this is the only place I actually crave to go back to. Very generous portions, the broth is a perfect mix of herbally and beefy, and the limes they bring to the table are super juicy. I would seriously eat a light bulb if it was served in a bowl of this broth. The bun bo hue is also excellent and actually spicy. Highly recommend.”

“This is always a fun chill spot to hang out on the west side. Food is good, more like diner food with a full menu. It's not fancy but I'd say standard. If it's busy with bowlers I find service to be mostly ok but can be long between visits from your server. I often go just to enjoy the patio and the other games they have aside from bowling. Inside there is pin ball, shuffleboard, bocchi ball, pool, foosball and ax throwing. You can take beer to the under 21 side if a server walks it through the door for you. I would love to see that side get updated because half the machines are broken at this location. If you're there for the arcade side I'd do a different location but the Pins and Ales side is better than other ones.”

“The burgers weren't anything amazing, but they were good for fast food. The milkshake was delicious, and they had their fried zucchini available which was awesome. They could use a different brand of ranch though. The employee at the drive through was very friendly and polite.”
