We had an amazing time visiting on a recent Sunday. Highly recommended for delicious wine, amazing views, and friendly people. A few helpful pieces of info:They have a very nice facility with both an indoor tasting room and a deck with chairs and umbrellas. The deck is not covered for rain.They are dog friendly, and we saw dogs both inside and on the deck, so if it is a rainy day, you can bring your dog to sit inside.They offer a charcuterie plate that is very good. Too bad the review scale maxes out at 5 stars -- this is a jewel of a winery perched on a mountain overlooking the Blue Ridge and Amherst County, producing a remarkable level of wine. The vineyard is a retirement project of Christine and Dennis Vrooman, who started here in 2008 and quickly shot to the top of the Virginia wine world.
