My first and probably last time going to Chopt. I ordered a warm grain bowl and the rice was so dry and undercooked it felt like I was biting into tiny pieces of rock with every bite. I was afraid I was going to break a tooth if I kept eating so unfortunately I had to discard the rest of the bowl.
Whenever I want a fresh, made to order, customizable salad, I head to CHOPT. I decided to check out this location, as it is close to my job. I wasn't disappointed. Service is quick and the establishment was clean. Located on a busy part of Wilson BLVD, there are plenty of places to park. The cashier suggested a maple flavored tea, which was decent. I work in the same building as this establishment - a super convenient go-to lunch spot. Food is always fresh, tasty, and delivered in a timely manner (especially when you use the app to order in advance). I always just grab and go like clockwork. It gets pretty crowded around lunchtime so I've never actually eaten there but overall I'd say this place is a solid option for a healthy lunch any day of the week.
