“This is a fun place in Clarendon. I lucked out and got a parking spot right out front of the restaurant (but it was early on a Sunday). Otherwise I was told by fellow diners parking was a nightmare.Loved the service and atmosphere...but the food was just ok. I had the Lyon Burger and I ate without the bun and sauce and the burger was way too salty.“

“Had a great time hanging out with friends last weekend. Bronson is typically a popular location; so I was glad we were able to find a table. They do take reservations; so something to consider if you are planning a visit. We ordered a couple Dunkel beers, giant stuffed pretzel with jalapeños, tater tots, fries, and sausages for the table. One of my friends also ordered a salad, which she said was good. We enjoyed all the food and beer. We also played a couple board games, which they have several stacks of near the kitchen. I'd definitely come back. Thanks for a great experience!“

“We arrived at our reservation having just endured a 10 hour travel day )that was supposed to be 3 hours) so we were all flustered and out of sorts. As we were being seated, my three year old paused on the stairs and vomited right then and there. I was mortified of course but they were SO kind and understanding. That continued throughout our meal (since our kid recovered quickly). I cannot say enough about their amazing service and professional demeanor. Thank you to that staff!“

“No frills hipster-ish beer garden I've been coming to for over a decade. Dog friendly and lots of picnic benches to share with strangers, which is fun. Their food is so unbelievably good-I recommend this place to anyone and everyone; it's one of my favorite spots in DC. I usually get the corn (it's gotten pricey), pulled pork or cubano and it's always delicious. While I will continue to come back, the place really needs some TLC; especially the bathrooms.Anyways, come here, you'll love it.. maybe wait to go to the bathroom some place else“

“It was a lovely dinner. The Sauerbraten with potato dumplings and the Boar Goulash with Cheddar Mashed Potatoes Entrees we had were superb. We shared the potato pancakes and the cup of goulash as our appetizers were excellent. The pink lady apple strudel is not to be missed. Order it at the same time you're ordering Entrees as it's made and baked to order. Everything was amazing. My husband was stationed in Germany for many years. He was so impressed with the food. We will be back to dine once again. Thank you!“

“We happened upon this restaurant while walking down Front St - glad we walked in! We sat inside and loved the atmosphere. Such cool decor! The beer garden out back looked really nice, too. We both had lunch specials - loved the fish sandwich, smashburger, spaetzle mac & cheese. Finished off with the apple strudel. Yum! Almost forgot the beer menu - great choices and we liked the option of three sizes to decide how our afternoon would go! Thanks for the tasty lunch and great service!“

“I had high expectations from this place but was a bit underwhelmed by the food. To start off I got the curry wurst, which was really good. For mains, I got Jagerschnitzel. While the mushroom sauce in this dish was on point. the spaetzle in the dish was chunky rather than noodle like and was flavourless. To end things off, I got the apple strudel, which was soggy instead of flacky. It did taste decent but was definitely average. Overall, I would say the atmosphere is really good, service is good too but the food was average.“

German Gourmet German • $$

“Such an amazing store in my neck of the woods. I’ve lived in my home near German Gourmet store for almost 14 years, I’ve driven by countless times and never entered. That ended today when I went inside, and it was AWESOME! Having served in the USAF stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany for two years I was able to sample the best of Germany food. I’m not an alcohol drinker so the beers were never my thing. This store took me back to my 19-20’s when I tried the German food, and lived like a king in Germany. This store has any and everything Germany, if you’re looking for a certain food, beer or desserts they got you covered. Don’t be like me and wait years to visit this store, run don’t walk to German Gourmet. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy! ?? ?“

“Great little Biergarten in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Plenty of beer options and the decor makes you feel like you are in Bavaria instead of Virginia. Great selection of beers and apparently food as well, though I have yet to eat here. Helles, lagers, pilsners, Weißbier..they got it all, even the elusive Kristalweizen! The rooftop bar is also a neat place to hang when it's open. Service was great and the bartenders are super friendly. Highly recommend!“

“Our very first time visiting this establishment was on Superbowl Sunday, we went in advance of the game to partake in the Sunday family activities they often advertise. We loved that there are several areas outside the actual venue for adults and children, with an area designated for dogs as well. The food in my opinion is not worth the price, we found it to be very bland and not appetizing. The pizza that came with the Superbowl package was not great, it tasted like cardboard. The mixed drinks were good and heavy on the alcohol however it is a bit on the pricey side.Overall, the concept is a wonderful idea for couples looking to taste different crafted beers and/or families looking to enjoy an afternoon out. However, I do recommend the menu to be revamped because the item options currently available does not reflect the price being paid.“
