The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the winery's history and property, adding depth to the experience.Since the weather was nice, I opted for a sparkling flight, which was very refreshing. Among the selections, the brut was my favorite, offering a delightful balance of flavor and effervescence. My partner enjoyed a red wine flight, which paired beautifully with their meat and cheese board – a small size was more than enough for the two of us.The combination of Barboursville Winery's wine selection, excellent facilities, and attentive staff made our visit truly special. “Really friendly winery with great wine! We arrived a bit before tasting time, but loved that the phone numbers to the owners were on the door so that we could still enjoy a tasting. We really enjoyed all the wines and they were distinct from the usual Virginia terroir. Wines were reasonable priced, and we definitely enjoyed the stop. We would definitely recommend if you're in the Barboursville/Charlottesville area!“
“What an awesome place! They are doing so many improvements to the overall experience. I can't wait until they finish the new tasting room, which will be incredible. They have a great selection of food, mini golf, and even a dog park. The Rosé wine was perfect, staff is so friendly, and the owners are great! Highly recommend if you've never been and go back if you haven't gone in a while. Such a pretty spot!“
“While vacationing in the area, we stopped at Burnley, which was the first of three planned winery visits. We did tastings of each wine. Wow wow wow. Delicious! We left with a case of wine. And needless to say, those other two stops were not necessary.“
