“From 4/20/24Drove from Richmond to enjoy some lunch and music.My only complaint is with prices. Now of course it depends on what you order, but $10 for a 12oz beer in a clear solo cup is high. Our lunch total was over $100. A pizza is $15, a sandwich cost varies but my wife had a sandwich that was $23.Staff was excellent. We sat at the bar and our bartender ( Hannah) was awesome . The music by Ray Martin was excellent. The atmosphere is great being right on Lake Gaston. And the locals we met there were rather friendly and offered fun conversations.Enjoyed the experience but at these prices, it will not be often.“

“My husband and I eat at the Bracey, Va. location very often. The food and service is always great. Best of all, we are always greeted coming in the door with, welcome to Huddle House. We usually see friends from Kenbridge, Va. South Hill, Va. and North Carolina, too. Looking forward to going for breakfast next Saturday.Also, sign up for the reward program, it’s a great benefit!“

“Had a friend traveling from Atlanta, GA to Danville, VA. I live in Richmond. We planned to meet halfway to catch up and have brunch. This place was perfect. Creative selection of food. Quality drink recipes (I don’t come across many bars that put the yolk in the whiskey sour). The ambiance. You’ll for sure enjoy! The biggest gag was the price was reasonable. Easy return if I’m ever in the area.“

“Great place to stop, food was amazing! Looked at reviews before getting there and it was all that everyone said it would be. Would not expect the quality of food and wide range of items on the menu! Everything is made to order, so if there is a couple people ahead might need a little patience but it is so worth the wait. Owners really make you feel welcome it’s just the two of them, but if it’s not too busy and you’re a new face or an old one they come out to ask how the food is and make small talk. Best hole in the wall you’ll ever find!!!“

“Mannn this was exactly the meal my girl and I were searching for out here in Virginia!!! My lord, the bbq pulled sandwich was amazing!!! My girl got the farmhouse burger which was equally delicious. The staff was perfect!! This is definitely the spot you are searching for if you’re hungry! Trust me!!!“

“Best burger and fries ive had in a very long time! Can’t recommend this little slice of roadside heaven enough. Perfect for a quick bite during the work day or chillin on a weekend. Try the “hoop cheese” !! (And the sweet potatoes too)“

“I have up on cracker barrel the last time I ate at one in NC. I visited this town and decided to give it a try. I now have a cracker barrel that I can enjoy. My waitress made it extra nice, thank you Allecia P. She has made me a solid customer here at this location. Now bring back PBR and I'll be complete with cracker barrel.“
