I used to love eating here until my last visit. What happened to the burgers? I remember the meat actually being thick. A double cheeseburger at this last visit had two extremely thin slices of meat that honestly were thinner together than the single piece of meat was on their burgers in previous years. Throw in a sign that limits the time you have to eat and I won't be back. If I can't sit and eat peacefully while having a conversation over a meal with friends I'm not coming.
This place was pretty good a couple of years ago, not sure what happened but the last few times I took my kids there it was awful. We don't go out to eat much anymore but in a pinch it was a go to place until the food was chewy and looked old, double fried or nuked, a whole 3 onion rings as a side and tiny, chewy, hush puppies, small chewy chicken tenders and only got 3, they used to give 4 decent sized. We ordered two of the hotdog trays that comes with two hotdogs and two sides. All for hotdogs were cold, not sure if they were even cooked. The hush puppies were so burnt you couldn’t hardly eat them and we had to sit at the window and wait for several minutes at the window for nothing to come out hot. This cookout has gone downhill for sure.
