“We just came off the trail after a weekend backpacking trip and were looking for something quick. Almost drove to next town for fast food but we decided to give Scotos a try. Glad we stopped! The service was quick and the food was hot and tasty! The locals seemed friendly as well. I do recommend checking this place out. Hope to return in the future to try their pizza next time!“

“Tyler was an excellent server. As always we had great service and exceptional food. The new green chili burger was great and perfectly cooked...also MESSY LOL ! Get extra napkins. The side salad has greatly improved and the blue cheese dressing is the BEST I have EVER had in any restaurant. Huge chunks of blue cheese and a BIG serving !! “Visited Kenney's while traveling from Washington D.C. to North Carolina. It was easy enough to get to off of 81 and equally as easy to get back to 81 after your meal. It was a Friday at lunchtime and there was almost a line out the door. The line moved relatively quickly. I'll say it is kinda hard to see the whole menu from the far right side of the counter where you place your order. The order process itself is quick and easy then grab a seat and wait for your order to be called. This is one of those places where they shout your whole order to the restaurant when it is ready so...just be aware. LOL I got a snack pak with mac and cheese and a hot dog with chili and mustard. The hot dog was pretty basic but good. Chili was slightly sweet and the bun was super soft. In the snack pack, I got a wing and a big thigh, mac and cheese, and a biscuit with honey. The mac and cheese was ok. This is runny mac and I prefer mac that holds its shape a bit more. Also, the side serving is pretty small. The biscuit is not what I'd typically call a biscuit but it was good especially with the provided honey. The meal so far would just be three stars but the fried chicken took this up a whole extra star. That's great fried chicken. Incredibly well-seasoned and SO crispy. I will definitely be getting Kenney's next time I'm passing through Lexington.“

“Waitresses went above and beyond to help me retrieve my car keys out of a cubby hole in my car. Also the best waitresses I have had there. Was in there around 7pm Wednesday night. I'm sorry I didn't get thier names but one girl had blonde hair and the other girl had curly hair put up in afro puffs. Great “

“The food was well prepared and the service was efficient but not friendly. Our evening was rather spoiled by our seating. We made our reservations weeks ago, but we were offered a table right by the front door and the hostess stand. We asked if there was another table available. We were shown to a table that was even worse, between two service areas and swinging doors. We really didn't want to complain again but asked if we could get our original table back. It was already gone. Meanwhile we sat through dinner and looked out on the lovely patio where there was a table for two that was empty all evening. Be sure you ask for a table in the main seating area or on the patio when you make your reservations.“
