“Manager Matt is very cool! Friendly staff always. Great atmosphere. Military friendly. My friend loves the 6 types of sauces. I love its sweet potato dessert. Saw the whole store standing up for national anthem on Saturday at 12pm. Although it’s a chain, this store’s quality is not compromised. Recommend!Parking: Many parking.“
“A small gem in cville! The bread pudding is to die for and I never leave google reviews but the food at this place is so tasty and well seasoned it’s insane. I recommend the crispy Brussels sprouts as an app and obviously the bread pudding. Love this little place!“
“We came in for a school trip and the servers were so kind to us and our group even though we were so big we were greeted and welcomed with kindness and love! They had some awesome souvenirs and the prices were awesome, some small town hospitality. Loved every second and best sausage links I've ever had. Would highly recommend! If your stopping for mr Jefferson come here to enjoy a nice meal.“
“Our server Joyce was the very best! The food was great. The desserts were awesome. The kitchen seemed to be on the struggle bus when we first arrived, but caught up by the time other tables' entrees were coming out. We will definitely go back!“
“Very nice little restaurant located in Pantops in Charlottesville. The owner is welcoming, polite, pleasant, and eager to please. We had 2 lunches there during our trip on separate days. I had a cheeseburger and chef salad, and my mom ordered a BLT, and on the second visit, she ordered scrambled eggs and toast. Everything that we tried was very good, and the portions were large. If you are looking for a home cooked meal in Charlottesville, then I would highly recommend DOODLES DINER!“
“Red Hub was absolutely delicious! We had pulled pork and roast chicken (which were great) but the real hit was the mashed potatoes, which were incredible. We liked the variety in the menu and their partnership with Farm Bell gave us a lot of options (everything we tried was delicious, even the things that didn’t make our menu). We also used them for bartending and were very happy with the service they provided, even with complicated signature drinks.“
“I have a tumor in my brain. But, the pork belly biscuit sliders just might be the cure because my mind was blown. Good stuff all around. Ofelia’s Benedict & Banana Foster French toast for the win. Extra points for coffee that tasted good but didn’t make my heart start playing house music in my chest.Shout out to our server Min.“
“Love the Whiskey Jar! So many great choices for Whiskey, Bourbon, etc. and they have good food too. I had the pulled pork with collard and broccoli salad, liked it all. He had fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, cheesy hot broccoli. He didn't like the cheesy broccoli because there was too much cheese. Corn bread was good. We shared an apple pie old fashioned and a whiskey flight 'Elijah Craig, 4 Roses, Isaac Bowman'. I found a new one I liked, Isaacc Bowman was smooth & flavorful. We both thought the apple pie old fashioned was too sweet and the quicker flavor was too dilute.“
“This is a **HIDDEN GEM** in C-Ville! Excellent BBQ, brisket burnt ends, roasted chicken, and pulled pork. All sides are made from scratch (no Jiffy cornbread here!). Highly recommend stopping in! “To go” orders have a nice flow… pick up your order and exit out the side so you don’t have to weave through incoming customers. Easy, free parking, too. You’ll know you’re close when you smell the smoke!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is accessible including a ramp in front of the front door.“
“TLDR: is you are in town it's a must have.Best chicken. Everytime.im.in Chaotesville it's a must pit stop. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy, just amazing good chicken and sides. They have a few tables but mainly is carry out.Stop by if you can. you wont regret it.“
“Selected Fig for dinner as part of Charlottesville restaurant week. We enjoyed the atmosphere and attentive staff. Our party enjoyed the Salmon, Vegan pie and Southern chicken. They were able to accommodate a nut allergy for us as well. Gumbo appetizer was very good and served hot. One inconsistency with the chicken dish. Two orders with different presentations. One with gravy over a centered dish. One not hot with the chicken to the side with gravy along the other edge. I did not mention the not hot meal to the server nor my friends as I didn’t want to disrupt their meal. I understand you would have corrected so I gave 4 stars. So good but not yet great.“
“I am so glad my husband and I discovered this restaurant. The food was exquisite and the alcohol was strong! We tried their cornbread, Bourban street pasta, and Braised Lamb shank. Who would have thought cornbread could taste like a peice of heaven! It's served hot in a small cast-iron pan with a whipped butter and it's the best cornbread I've ever had. The pasta and Lamb were also delicious.Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options“
“We had a great dinner here. The fried green tomatoes are delicious, as are the cheesy grits. Good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The veggie pot pie was also great! The meatless meatloaf was not as good as one might hope but overall a delicious meal. We would gladly go again to try more things!“
