Adorable restaurant. The art and the building itself is gorgeous. Our server handled the allergies in our large group like a complete pro. She was awesome and I wish I caught her name. The food was so comforting yet elevated. The fried green tomatoes were crisp with the most delicious pimento cheese. The biscuits were so good we had to order a second round. Mockingbird is a fantastic place, that has evolved to be my favorite place in Charlottesville. I have eaten there on several locations with different people and every time the right balance between food, service, and atmosphere was just great. And affordable!
