“My planner Sarah Fay Waller, a Charlottesville native, recommended Cake Bloom to my family and I for my June 2023 Wedding. Our first tasting was so fun, and we all unanimously agreed on the carrot cake. It was divine. Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We were eating last pieces on the way to the airport to fly back home to California and my family took the rest home and enjoyed it well after our wedding! Thank you so much Cake Bloom, we loved our cake so much!“
“I contacted Farmacy regarding the catering of an event that was less than a week away. They got back to me very promptly over a holiday weekend, and the food was all as tasty as it gets and the vegetarian options were perfect. Can't thank the team enough!“
“This might be my favorite place on the planet. Thier chai is simply the best. Especially, if you can catch it on a day when it's a little bit more on the spicy side. The Tea Bazaar has given me a life long addiction to Golden Monkey tea. Food- PMT and don't forget to Bazaar the side salad, unless they have the Thai coconut curry special, so good.“
“This soup was so delicious! Especially after a night out the night before. The lady taking our order was very kind and the food was brought out pretty quick! The pho is fresh, light and so flavorful. All of the vegetables were so good and I would love to come back next time I’m in the area. 10/10!“
“Delicious! While in the midst of a quest, I met a friend haven’t seen in years and we traveled to this wonderful establishment for sustenance! We could have eaten multiple bowls, everything on the menu looked amazing. The Thai iced tea was the perfect compliment to the Dragon Bowl I ordered!“
“Stopped by here for lunch during a recent work trip to Charlottesville and loved it so much I returned the next four days. Everything I had was delicious, but my favorites were the tomato bisque and the gobbfather sandwich. I agree with some other reviewers that there was a bit too much spicy mayo, but that's definitely not a dealbreaker. I was also very impressed with their iced coffee. Highly recommend!“
“My wife and I go to Thai Cuisine frequently, at least a few times a month. We love the food and the service is great. It is a smaller restaurant, but there's plenty of seating. They also offer takeout and online ordering, which is really nice! Overall, I would highly recommend this spot for a quick lunch or pleasant dinner.“
“Staff were very attentive and helpful with our food and beverage selection. When it got crowded, it got a little loud but you could still hold a conversation. T-shirts and goodies were cheap!!!! Parking was good. I'll go back when I visit!!“
“Vivi’s Cakes and Cupcakes has some of the best cupcakes we’ve ever had! We did a tasting to choose flavors for our wedding, and it was hard narrowing down to just a few flavors. The cupcakes also came packaged well and we didn’t have any trouble transporting them to the wedding venue and setting them up. Our wedding guests especially liked the cookie dough flavor!“
“Amazing chocolates! If you like quality and care about ingredients, you will love them! I bought an assorted pack of 8 chocolates, and loved every flavor. I will be ordering more online, as I am not local. Excellent alternative, if you want to gift something made in Virginia. I have visited Europe, and this chocolates are on par with the ones I have tried abroad.“
“The service and food can not be beat!I love the food, the ambiance and the staff!! The lamb is one of the softest I've had. The chicken is always perfect ?He always jokes with us remembers us and serves a perfect product. I can't say enough good things about this place!!!“
“My husband and I were just here the other and were thoroughly impressed! It was wonderful to eat somewhere where I could be accommodated safely with my food allergy. Our server, Jen, was extremely attentive and the food was phenomenal. I have recommended it to several friends already and we will definitely be back soon!!“
“Normally love mellow but this last experience was fairly negative. Ordered 4 pizzas to go and they were cold. They forgot the ranch on my Buffalo pizza as well as the two sides of beer cheese that I ordered. When I called the person answering the phone acted like it was our fault for not checking for the sides of beer cheese. Overall did not meet expectations. ---- REVISED owner reached out to apologize and discounted our order. Would eat here again but will probably be in the restaurant and not to go.“
“What a blissful little market that appeals to all of your senses once you walk through the door. Many healthy potted plants for sale, chilled homemade pies, baked goods (must try shortbread cookies!), thoughtfully crafted displays with all types of gifts for any occasion including children's books! I bought 4 different kinds of shortbread cookies (you can buy a jar full of one flavor or individually wrapped bigger versions) which I did! I love each cookie I tasted and you can tell they made with care! Kelsey and the Found Market team are amazing!“
“We have been ordering from Dino’s for quite a while, but tonight was really disappointing . We ordered our usual with extra sausage and extra onion and that’s what we paid for, but there was hardly any of either topping on our pizza. I would honk twice before ordering again.“
“Ice cold tacos served daily. Your go to for cooler than room temperature food served in a Where’s Waldo format. It’s kind of like warm tacos with all the flavor and melted cheese but the cheese isn’t melted and the flavors are muted by the cold food. I often wonder if this is intentional or they are pulling leftovers out of the fridge? This might be the new trend of restaurants!“
“Yummy! Food was very good. Service was excellent. Very small space but cute and functional. Gluten Free Waffles and fried chicken. Coffee was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Waffles (used for the bread in the sandwiches) and Gluten Free fried chicken. Service seemed very aware of options and offered help when ordering.“
“My 2 best friends and I went on Valentines Day. This place is ALWAYS amazing. The food comes out quick, it's always delicious and fresh and hot, they have such cute drink choices, tons of small plates options to choose from and our waitress that night was amazing and was super attentive. I wish I remembered her name because she was great! But if she remembers serving 3 girls (one with pink short hair) then thank you!!!! ♡“
“Went for lunch on a weekday. They weren't too busy and we were able to get a table and get our food without too much wait. We both ordered a pick two. I had a ham and brie wrap which was really good and a ceasar salad which was just okay. Overall the restaurant was neat and I will probably go again, but will not be ordering the salad again.Wheelchair accessibility: This is in a basement down some steps.“
“The food was delicious and there was something for everyone in our party of 5. Including 2 vegetarians and a picky 6 year old! The ambience is absolutely perfect, it just felt cool to be there. Our server, Ephraim, was truly awesome. He made us feel welcomed right away, he was efficient and quick and friendly and our food was perfect and all of us were in agreement that this experience was absolutely perfect. We will return and encourage others to do the same!!! 10/10!!“
“We go to firefly for a drag show. The food is always good but the service can be very hectic. You have to order at the bar and sometimes it's very difficult to get someone to take your order. The drag show is always fun and there are usually some awesome performances. The food is usually good.“
“It was good. Service was great. Employees were attentive and kind. Prices were seemed about right (not too expensive) for being a nice looking restaurant on the downtown mall. Ordered pasta, pizza, and took home a tiramisu. They have a few vegetarian options. Complimentary bread was nice. Pizza was a good pizza. Pasta and tiramisu were bomb. Would definitely go back. Seems like it would be a nice spot for a summer lunch date where you eat outside. Also looked like they had a couple good cocktails, but didn’t order any this time.“

“I've mainly done drinks here, which it's a good place for. They have a fairly broad tap selection, good wine offerings, and a decent happy hour. The bar area is chill, but not a place I would choose for watching a game because the tvs are mounted too high. Their outdoor space is nice, and generally my preference if the weather suits.I've only eaten here a couple times. Food was on par with similar offerings. Enjoyable, hot, and didn't take too long. Not the best reuben I've ever had, but certainly better than many. IMHO, a reuben is a pretty good marker of the overall execution of a kitchen. This one was toasted properly, crisp outside, not soggy or rock hard. It's a pastrami reuben, so a little creative take. The pastrami was good and a lot of Swiss. The thousand island is apparently house made and pretty good. Could possibly use a little more of the dressing and kraut. My overall rating of the place kinda follows this sandwich. Not perfect execution, but close. Google doesn't allow halves, or I'd give it four and a half. Just can't quite bring myself to a 5.“
“not sure if it was because i was hungry but that burrito really cured my morning "sickness". so did the coffee. i ordered the daybreak burrito which comes with scrambled egg, spicy sausage, cholula hot sauce, queso blanco, and cilantro. very nice texture and a great combo with everything between. the egg and the queso helped balance the spice from the sausage and hot sauce. i added more hot sauce that you can grab from the counter at pick up just because and it HITS. this was my first time here about a month ago (end of january), and i was asking for recommendation for coffee. the cashier sounded unconfident but she suggested the white chocolate coffee/mocha?? i forgot. i just needed coffee and it did its job. sweetness was perfect and ice ratio too. didn't ask to alternate anything, although next time i'll ask for almond or soy milk because dairy + more dairy didn't help with the bubble guts. plenty of seating and very nice decor. it was almost vintage/modern ish. felt nostalgic in a way. will be coming back my next UVA visit.“
