“My friends and I always look forward to stopping by when we are near Charlottesville!“

“First, the food was absolutely delicious. While I’ve never had a meal at a Thai restaurant I didn’t like, this one was novel in flavors and menu selections (not even including the Mexican food)! I don’t know exactly what “authentic” tastes like, but I’m pretty sure this is it, or at least the closest you’ll find in Charlottesville and the nearby regions.

Second, VERY vegetarian friendly but be sure to ask because many sauces have shrimp! We had a mock-duck curry with Seitan and it was incredible— I have never seen seitan at a restaurant, let alone served so well. The only caveat is that many dishes that are normally vegetarian have shrimp in the sauce. But here’s the thing— the lovely woman who took our order actually told us and was so helpful and accommodating.

“Love the food but the delivery options are an epic fail. Placed an order today before 3pm to be delivered at 6:45pm. Checked at 7pm and learned it wouldn’t be delivered until after 8pm. Not worth that!“

“The food is always great here and service is good too. I'm a regular here and have a few go-tos: som tum salad (papaya salad), spring rolls, Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, Pad See eaw, and Panang curry. Flavors are always on point. Only criticisms I have for the food are that Pad thai has too much sauce, and panang curry is a little watery. I've ordered Pad thai with light sauce and it was much better. Portion sizes are generous. Service is pretty consistent but can vary depending on if the restaurant is full. There are two servers who have to take care of the whole place themselves with no extra bussing/running support. They also do good business with takeout and answering phones. So if it's busy and you're waiting kind of long that is why. Waitresses remember regulars names and orders and are very sweet and attentive. Menu prices are fair. Will add a star for food if the pad thai sauce level and wateriness of panang curry is tweaked. Overall highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Lemongrass on the Uva corner is solid Thai food. The food we ordered was very flavorful and consistent across all of the items we ordered. I loved the Drunken Noodles and the family enjoyed Pad Thai and other items. That this is a family business shows in the careful attention they put into the food we received. We will be back and this is most likely one of our go to places for carryout or dinner now as we love solid Thai Food and Lemongrass everything we had was on point.“
