A new addition to the MP brand in Portsmouth. The store front sells spices, snacks, beverages, etc. that are unique to the Caribbean and typically difficult to find else where. A few steps back toward the counter and you are able to order s few of the dishes notorious to the Caribbean. Dishes like oxtail, curry chicken, and patties (hand held flavorful meat pies). It's MP's!!! It's either hit our miss. This day unfortunately was a miss. J*** chicken was kind of dry. Only got 3 small pieces of oxtail. For the amount of money we paid should have gotten a little bit more.

You have to check out Mp Island during lunch, I got the stew chicken and the lunch special deal is awesome . The cafe is always clean and neat and the service is fast. They also have a grocery side of the store with carribean food drinks deserts and herbs at a great price . Today I had the stew chicken rice and peas and plantains. Absolutely delicious!
