“This is the place locals go for fresh, high quality Mexican food. It's our weekly outing for a meal as a family. The prices are higher than average but the portions are huge. We often leave carrying our leftovers which make a meal the next day. So, stop reading this review and go get you some!“

“Authentic Mexican Restaurant with good food I'd go back for. Service was walk up, but they brought the food too you quickly. Seating and tables were typical fast food style; clean and comfortable. I will go back for quick Authentic Mexican...“

“I was told about this place while I was dining elsewhere and I gotta say it didn't let me down.A sign of any good Mexican restaurant is when they have lengua tacos and these were so good! The tortilla seems to be fresh, made in- house and the meat was so tender and flavorful.I don't usually make it this far down Peter's creek to get to this place but I'll definitely be sure to return again because I want to try the Diablo tacos next.Parking: This place is attached to the Exxon gas station so parking depends on how many people are at the gas station as well.“

“Every Tuesday $1 street tacos! Pork carnitas or chicken. These are the smaller tacos but very filling. A child would be happy eating one. An adult would be happy eating four. Authentic and delicious food. Staff is super friendly! Love this place. Limited seating. Maybe six booths but I like how cozy it is. Great for take out. They are super fast. Make sure and tip them well especially on Taco Tuesday and definitely try the Mexican chili oil on your tacos if you like spice.Parking: If parking lot is full there is tons of street parking.“

“This place is truly authentic Mexican food. I felt like I stepped into a little restaurant in a Mexican town and made an order of food there. Wonderful food. Will go there many more times! The food is made in a food truck/trailer next to the building. The cashiers bring it in to you. Not much space to eat. Maybe 6 or so tables. Lots of people get it to go.The attached grocery store is like stepping into another culture as well. Awesome place.“

“I recently tried this elote food truck and it was really good! The corn was grilled perfectly, and the sauce had a nice flavor. They also topped it off with a generous amount of cheese. The people running the truck were friendly too. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out if you're craving some tasty elote in “

“Delightfully surprised by this place. It was clearly a convenience store at one time, now a hole in the wall style Mexican joint with amazingly good food. They are still doing various renovations, so a bit cluttered inside but honestly that doesn’t matter - this place is all about the food. I had the Carnitas Tortas, basically a pork sandwich. It was so big I only ate half. Very tasty. The red hot sauce has a nice kick to it. They have authentic Mexican drinks available in the old cooler, including authentic Coca Cola in a glass bottle. I will definitely be coming back here to try the many different items on their menu.“

“Ate here for lunch while in town. I ordered the a Paloma to drink along with an Elotes cup, one queso birria taco with a side cup of consume, one tripa taco, and the Birria Ramen which came with a side of tortillas. Everything was delicious except the birria was very bland in flavor.“

“I discovered this place on my way home after a job interview. You wouldn't think you'd find such a gem next to a gas station, but the decor is great and they even have a creekside setting. I had the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious. Apparently they have other locations in the area, so I'm looking forward to getting to try more of the menu in the months to come.“

“Was there Mexican food before I tried this place?! The downtown TR by far surpasses any I’ve ever had. The flavor and quality sets the bar. Service is great, we come to enjoy seeing them!! Love the order and pay ahead so when you are finished you leave.“

“Okay, this place is hands down the best Mexican food restraunt I have ever been to. The margaritas staight out of the gate were actually leaded versus those that provide a fruit slush and call it a margarita. THIS is a margaritas. They clearly use real fruit puree and not some flavored syrup. The salsa is homemade, the Buffalo sauce is homemade, which is the best buffalo sauce I have EVER had, and I don't even like Buffalo sauce. I ate most of this. Their service is 5-star. They greeted us, and we were incredibly friendly upon arrival and all the way through the experience. My husband ordered a shrimp taco ala cart, and it came out wrapped in tinfoil to keep it hot. He added on the goodies it came with, and it was AMAZING! The outside ambiance was great on a warm evening. The parking lot is always full, which tells you more than you need. You have GOT to come here!“

“We stopped here on a return trip from North Carolina. Outside was very inviting as was the decor of the entire eatery. We selected the beef and chicken enchilada, a beef combo plate, and of course a quesadia for the youngest. Our table was provided with warm chips and a delicious mild salsa that even our finicky youngest liked. Entrees were served quickly, and were wonderful. The guacamole were especially tasty and I would have enjoyed more of it. Our waiter never smiled and must have been having a really bad day. I didn't let this influence my tip as everything and everyone else was to our liking. The best laugh? Two of the bathroom stalls had cutouts in the door to open past the toilet! I guess that's what happens when you don't hire a professional tradesman. Was tempted to post but gave this goof a laugh.“

“Small menu with excellent food. I had the 3 taco platter with shredded beef, and it was outstanding. Beef was succulent and flavorful, flour tortillas were loaded with meat and shredded cheese. The green salsa set it over the top. Probably some of the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time, and I have a pretty high bar when it comes to Mexican food. The prices were very reasonable. We didn't have any margaritas, but the ones we saw going to tables looked good -“
