Bro and Pete and all the kitchen staff were tremendously kind and caring.. my son and i had hotdogs all the way, best I've ever had.. as we finished we were offered a free piece of chicken, we immediately ordered 8 pieces to go, it was absolutely delicious.. sweet tea was perfect and the brownies? OMG! We live 50 minutes from here and have no problem making that drive.. thank you for your kindness..“

One big complaint, please please employess if yous can clean in between customers. THE toppings area gets messy really quick. “We came in today to try their new açaí bowls and I’m so glad we did! They were awesome! I had the berry crunch one with added chia seeds and honey drizzle. My sister had the tropical bowl with added ginger and peanut butter drizzle. The açaí mixture was so good and not icy or half melted like I have had at most places. I’m not sure how they make it this good but I’m so happy that offer them. Now I just wished I lived closer so I could come often :(. We come in about once every 5 to 6 weeks to visit with family. We will definitely be back to try the other varieties of açaí bowls. “This place is highly sentimental to me to begin with as my papa used to bring me here all the time when I was younger and I'm 25 now and he passed away at the age of 70 a few weeks ago. I went for the first time in years last night and was legitimately sobbing at the memories it brought up for me; the ice cream was great and the people were nice and it looks cool since they remodeled but my favorite thing to get there used to be the Oreo earthquake I don't know if y'all still have it or not but I'd like to have it if it's on the menu. My only guess is it's because it's difficult to access - would be so much better if you could enter/exit from Wal-Mart parking lot.This is very very casual dining - a few tables inside. Paper plates. But the food was incredible. I saw a couple of folks picking up takeaway while we were there - I'm guessing that's the heart of their weekday business. Bonus: prompt and careful service.Sadly, the ice cream machine was broken and apparently has been for a while. From what I hear, the machine that they use is not your usual design and is very expensive to fix --- so here's my rave review to encourage people to GO THERE and eat the VERY YUMMY savories to help fund the return of the sweets. :)I got a sushi burrito; my guest got chicken fried rice. Both were generous portions and the chicken was tender and juicy. The sushi burrito is kind of like a hand roll but rolled more tightly and the ingredients were fresh. Ps the crab wontons are also worth it - they weren't chewy or dry.Will 1000% be going back.And hopefully the ice cream machine will be fixed so we can try the crepes next time.If their ice cream machine is still broken when you visit, finish your trip by going next door to Zocalo for takeaway treats :)“
